The first is, the absolute absurd overreaction of this board with every morsel of news good or bad about our beloved Dolphins, for months, almost everyone of us to a man has been prefacing every Flynn comment with "only if Philbin endorses it", it's clear that Philbin didn't give Flynn a ringing endorsement, we don't overpay for him, and this board erupts with stupidity? Ireland HAS to get his next QB decision right, his job AND reputation is on the line, if Philbin told him "this guy is a franchise QB, go get him" and he didn't, it would be career suicide (not to mention, Philbin would be irate and this conflict would of already been "leaked" to the media). No way this wasn't a collective decision, too much at stake for Ireland not to be.

The second is, how Flynn is spinning this like he turned us down and the media is running with it. Make no mistake, we turned him down by not overpaying and bringing in A. Smith. Guess what duechbag, you are like a 5 that just got turned down by the star QB when you asked him to go to prom. Get over it before Ireland/Ross make Philbin come to their defense and tell everyone what he really thought of you. Hell, even A Rodgers gave him the ringing endorsement of "he'll be a top 15 QB in this league". Well guess Mr. Rodgers, that "top 15 QB" is now making the same as you.

Please people, judge this non move in a year or two.

Agree, the media is running like Flynn is Tom Brady and nobody wants to play for the Phins.

Only time will tell what Flynn is, but expect him to be closer to Cassell & Kolb than Brees, and at close to $9M a year which is Aaron Rodgers range! Good deal for him.

Maybe we have better info. on what Flynn really can do, same with Tannehill.(Hopefully!) Expect Philbon & Sherman to have given advice

In Smith's case, he may accept the same offer from us he turned down, just for a new start. Adding Moss (sucked last time he played) and Manningham isn't a major upgrade

We need to add 3 more weapons in the draft which is easily doable. My first move would be Mike Wallace, an upgrade from Brandon Marshall.

If we can land him, Gates can become a threat, and we add a quick slasher like Chris Rainey, Ryan Broyles, Ty Hilton Joe Adams, Chris Owusu , Travis Benjamion,or Demaris Johnson and one of the top TE's, this offense could be explosive

Just exactly what would that have to do with football, or anything else for that matter. Questioning a person's family background is generally considered Taboo.

Players often times bring discredit on their organization, it happens, but when management does it...well just look at our organization now and how we are perceived around the league and I think you'll have your answer.
