Hello all, hmmmmm seems a bit weird that as of 10pm sunday nite the phins dont have a meeting set up yet with Manning. I do not think this will end very well for us. I think the ship has sailed and we blew it again. How the freakin hell does Ross not have a meeting set up? let alone let Manning leave to visit other teams and not contact him? I hope i am wrong but I doubt it. I Dont think he will get flynn either. This organization is ridiculous, I just dont get them or the stupid way they do business. Prove me wrong Ross!!

Unfortunatley we have no control over whether we get a meeting with Manning or not. Chiefs, Seahawks and Titans also looking for a chance, but won't get one.

Read the Phins wanted to see him throw where others will likely sign him without checking him out.

If this is true, maybe this is good to pass??

Could he really want teams to sign him without throwing or a physical?

Seems real risky for teams to offer a big contract unless there is some injury clause

manning flying back to miami bc he lives here but no meeting planned with phins, and unsure if he won't make one? so he flies accross the country for marathon meetings with denver and ariz but nothing with the team in the same city as him? yeah, this will end well....

Per Mort and Schefter, Peyton doesn't even have a meeting set up and will resume workouts and rehab as soon as he gets back to Florida.

This is over, we better move on to Flynn real quick.

Peyton will be a Bronco, and the city of Denver will be a circus with Manning and Tebow.

It isn't Ross's fault at all and has nothing to do with this organization being ridiculous. Manning wants to play in a cushy division. In other words, he's a gutless coward. He doesn't want to earn a division title, he wants it given to him by only having to go 8-8.

If Manning goes to Denver he is just plain stupid. Fox is a run first coach I don't care who his QB is that is his game plan. I have watched him for several years in Carolina and if he was still coaching the Panthers Cam would have been running all year. If Payton wants to control the offense again then the Cardinals will be his new team. I doubt that the Fins are going to let him take control and that is fine with me. I don't want to sign some old guy without even getting the chance to see if he can throw or not.

Thats how Elway won the Superbowl. They ran the wheels off of Terrell Davis . He plans on doing the same for manning.

For Peyton to be successful, he has to have the freedom to call his own plays. That's the way he did it in Indy, if we can't give him that then we should move on.

monte you are missing the point. we are not "moving on" from payton--payton moved on from us (never even gave us time of day). We'd have given him anything we wanted, dumped philben's system and let him call and install his own plays.

Well if your from Texas, and went to school at LSU, why in the H%$$ would you want to play football in Cleveland rather than Miami. Think about it... you've been sitting the bench in Greenbay, watching it snow and when you get a chance to escape you run to Cleveland????

The kid has been making 7th rd pick money, basically the league minimum. This could be his one shot at a big payday. You can't blame him for going where the money is. And Cleveland runs the same offensive system he has been playing in.
