Manning is woooed by Elway and signs with denver. we go after Flynn and actually have a chance becuase of Philbin. Do we consider Signing Tebow? Man is a Florida legend. He is a Team Player. He silenced a bunch of critics. Do we revive the Wildcat and make him #2 behind Flynn?

Why would you sign Flynn and then put him in a situation where his job is instantly in question amongst the media and Tebow acolytes?
Why would Flynn sign on for that circus?
Where has Tebow EVER shown he can play in any version of the west coast offense?

Tebow Finally decides to become a running back with a wild Cat option?

But aren't you saying in another post in another thread, that Peyton WOULD got there despite all of the above concerns????????
But in that thread, you seem to say the fact that Elway wants Peyton should cause those same considerations to be not that important. So is your point that Elway would not want Flynn and I'm confused as to why what Elway wants is going to control how the Tebow fans react.
If we go after Tebow, I will have officially ended my time as a Phin fan, all 30 years of my life I have followed this amazing franchise, but that would all be over if we decided on Tebow.

ME TOO. And then I will go and saw the head off of the Bronze TEBOW statue at the Swamp...

Me three. Not just because it is a STUPID football move, but also because it shows how clueless the FO is. They'd think this would be a popular move but actually it would turn off the real fans (much like the celebrity owners, but to a much greater degree). However, I don't really think we'd do this.
Worst case scenario has Manning going to Denver or AZ, Flynn signing with Seattle, and Cleveland drafting Ryan Tannehill at #4. Or, Manning signing with Denver or AZ, Flynn signing with Cleveland, and Seattle trading up in front of us to take Tannehill.

If he was as good QB as he is a Christian he'd be in the HOF already!
I'd rather be forced to watch a Bristol Palin lecture on abstinence in "clockwork orange" fashion than watch that option QB butcher the west coast offense in a dolphin uniform.
Suck, really? Is not that "too harsh" an assessment?
Some people say he's great. I would not agree with that either.
But can you really say he "sucks", Dolph? Really?
Our discussion here goes beyond whether we should take him. But to say he "sucks" goes beyond that. It says the man can't play football. Or that every time he passes, he throws an interception, or that almost every time he runs he fumbles the ball or that he fumbles on most hand-offs.

RESPONSE: And as for you, TT, you my friend are headed to Hell!

46.5% completion percentage, and as hard as it is to believe, I'm actually surprised it was that high. I have never seen an NFL QB throw the ball has poorly as Tebow, although Gabbert was close.
If Tebow was brought in as a backup QB and was surrounded by a great coaching staff that took the time to really work on his throwing issues And if Tebow was willing to work overtime to fix his issues then, and ONLY then, would I be open to bringing him to Miami.
Having him on the field as a relief option/wildcat guy/situational QB/situational RB, I could live with because of his athletic skills, toughness, and play making ability, as well as the fact that he is a winner, a genuinely good person and a positive influence.
I just wouldn't touch him as a primary starter though...not at his current stage of development anyway.
Christian or not, has NOTHING to do with it for me.

I agree with you more and more Chyrene. He's not Great , but the guy finds a way to win pretty consistantly. He would be good to have just for the way he can make players play better then they are. If all else failed, having Tebow battle with Moore would only make Moore a better player. I just don't see a downside to Tebow.
In no capacity do I want Tebow. I think one of the problems we/had with developing Henne was distracting him w/ the wildcat. Tebow would be nothing but a distraction. Yeah he wins just like we won w/ the wildcat. Just like the Ravens shoved the Wildcat up ours, one day a LB's gonna shove Tebow into a Gator Aid barrel and thus will end the Tebow legend.
I'm a Gator and Tebow fan but no way in hell want him as my nfl qb
