Do we have the "Ace up our sleeve" to land Manning?

Marino has always been that ace up the sleeve... He has been lobbying Manning for months to come to Miami from what I have heard... in between golf shots of course

you are one of my boys, so I feel i can say this to you, forget this CYA stuff, and go with your heart and love to see the team succeed. Forget the baggage of doubt that has been put on all of us Dolphins fans the last ten years and turn to the possbilities and dreams of what can be.... It is exciting, Peyton or RG3, either way I am excited and optimistic about the future, We as fans needs to turn the page on the past and believe again... sorry for being sappy but just speaking from the heart on my position

That'd be fine, but if it comes to that please don't copy and paste the same crap in multiple threads as you did with the "We're the biggest suckers...." post

Peyton plus RW in Miami would be epic. If this all would happen I bet Belichick's sphincter would pucker up big time.

It's okay, the post was only one line long and did refer to another post...lol
I thought about merging them, but there's so little (else) to discuss I'm letting it slide for now unless we get some absolutely identical threads.
The Ace up the sleeve besides the south florida weather, is financial, Manning is worth more to Ross and the Dolphins financially then any other team. SO therefore Ross can justify offering Manning more money then anyone else... End of story.... WHatever manning makes he will mean that ten fold to the value of the organization financially...
I don't believe signing Manning will be a bad decision, unless (1) he isn't completely healthy, or (2) he is healthy, then one hit messes up his neck again, and he is out. THEN I will believe it to be a bad decision.
If Flynn is signed, he will probably be a good QB, one that can steady the ship, but will he be any better than Moore?

Yep. That's the point.

As I posted above, I guess I'll always root for the Dolphins. But at a certain point, you have to remember the alternative title of the Movie "Dr. Strangelove."
Know what that title was? It was "Dr. Strangelove or How I learned to stop worrying and love the Bomb."
Well I guess my title will be "How I learned to stop being aggravated and laugh at the Dolphins."
It's just like the Movie "Carwash" wherein the character that goes off complains about having to come to work everyday "and watch this Clown show."
The Dolphins are getting to be a clown show.
And when Peyton comes in and gets injured or doesn't perform as he used to, I will have to laugh.
