Well, the Tom Brady that was a Sixth-round draft choice does not do that well against the blitz even having both those tight ends and Welker as well as a dump off. Your blitzers just have to be a little quicker. I think that Baltimore fits that bill.
But they say that is where they are leaving Aaron Hernandez in the backfield as a blocker. I thought your point was that he would be out in coverage making himself a blitz target.
Joe Flacco isn't a bad QB. There's a mindset that defense will win the games so Flacco is relegated to a special teams type player like a punter or kicker. He's there but is not the focus. Offense is not the focus of the Ravens.
If the great Ravens defense is at the top of their game and Flacco plays a good game they will be in the SB. If the Ravens are just so-so defensively, and Flacco is good or even great, Brady and company will be in the SB because the Ravens can't out point NE.
The likelihood of Brady having a lousy game is not likely because of his quick release and great TEs to throw to.
this is easy, the ravens are the worst of the elite teams and have too many loses to teams they should be much better than. Unfortunately i agree with the chirping that flacco is holding them back. i dont know if they still have troy smith but that guys is who should be playing for them. he makes things happen. I dont buy this 6 feet stuff. If your a pocket passer then yes i can see the point of why you dont want a shorter guy. But if your mobile it does not apply. Look at flutie, all he did was win and i dont think hes taller than wes welker lol...

if you say that the ravens "cant" outscore newengland, does that not say that flacco is not that good? look at the top qb's brees, rivers, P. manning, rogers, rothelsburger and yes even E. manning, if they got into a shoot out with brady can you say brady definetly wins? but if he shoots it out with say mccoy, tebow, castle, and yes flacco, if a shoot out i would say brady wins 100 out of 100 times... i dont think flacco is the guy.
It's nice to see that Cam Cameron being awful is hurting another team. I understand conserving the TO but those two and-1 plays were terrible. You have almost a minute, get the first down then spike the ball.
I hate the damn Patriots and really hate the Ravens for playing to the FG and I guess it is justice that they missed it.
Ravens looked liked the Old JJ Dolphins out there, good D---so so offense. We all know the results of those games. Oh well, at least it was close and exciting to watch.
Cundiff has always sucked, but you know, you have to cut corners on the roster somewhere for CAPS sake..lol. On the other hand the 2 plays at the end by a nobody DB who just became a somebody, Sterling Moore really won this game.

In general, yes, but not when the PATSIES benefit. Holy crap I can't stand them.

Real Justice would have been a Ravens victory. I would have been so happy for Ricky to get a SB ring if the Ravens would have knocked the Pats out of contention. Instead we have Brady celebrating his 239 yards with no TDs and 2 INTs.
Damn, now how would this have turned out if Carpenter was kicking for the Ravens today?
