So who do you want now?

Chud/Carmichel/Philbin in no particular order. I want a hungry offensive minded coach with recent success or coming from a succesful coaching tree. Obviously Jay Gruden would of been in that group, but he's removed himself from contention.
There probably is a "plan B" for just this turn down situation by Fisher. I'm not basing this on any information, just logic. The Dolphins must have a strong second offer on the table with one of the coaches they previously interviewed. Could it be Mike Zimmer with the Bengals?
it will probably be zimmer bc ireland knows him from dal and obviously making ireland feel comfortable and happy is all that matters anymore. screw what the fans want, as long as ireland feels safe and snug when he goes to sleep at night.
Nolan is a better defensive coach then Zimmer, If you want a defensive minded coach Nolan is clearly the guy.....
If we lose Nolan and dont sign a guy like ZImmer, then we have huge problems....
I would give Nolan the shot, just to keep the defense from falling apart...Nolan leaves we fall apart on defense...do you remember how bad we were before Nolan arrived?
Let's get somebody who is a real Dolphin, somebody who will work his heart out, a guy that will put more time it and push the team hard than anybody out there. The guy I'm thinking of has NO coaching experience. It would be something very new for him...totally untested. Wacky as this rant is...I'm thinking #54...Zach Thomas.
The reason I said elevate Bowles is that Ross says he wants to find a young Don Shula. Maybe we have one in our own backyard. Didn't he go 2-1 with the only loss to New England by 3 points?
Sometimes we tend to get wrapped up in our targets.
We want Andrew Luck and end up salivating over Barkley and RGIII then we started thinking about Landry Jones then he says he's going back so we start salivating over Matt Flynn who has proven nothing.
The reason I bring this up is that we start with John Gruden then we go to Jeff Fisher then we begin going to lesser options.
So, let's just stick with Bowles and see what happens.
