Our franchise is at its lowest point it has ever been. Ever.

Lower than when we were 1-15. Atleast we knew we were bringing in Parcells and had the #1 pick.

i never thought a owner could make such a big difference but every move ross has made or tried to make has totally backfired and made us look more and more foolish

You guys crack me up.

The franchise isn't at the lowest point its ever been.

Its in the exact same place its been for the last 12 years: Searching for a coach with long term viability and in desperate need of a franchise QB.

You guys are so upset that you didn't get the puppy that you wanted for Christmas that you don't care that there could be an XBox or IPad2 in those gifts under the tree...

Fisher is a good coach. He's not a GREAT coach. Now you get a chance to be great...not just good.

Its not the end of the world.

Truth,

Say what you want, but if you cant see that nobody in their right mind wants to come here, then I dont know what to tell you...

Come on, man...its in black and white...right there in front of you. Nobody wants any part of Jeff Ireland, or the Miami Dolphins. Nobody.

This used to be a job that if it came open, could have been filled within 10 minutes. But now, nobody wants to coach here.

Wow...you come up with that all on your own?

Like most things about you so far...not very original.

At least you are consistent Thunder.

Truth,

I like Fisher, but have been saying for a week or so now that I want Winston Moss.

But I dont even think Moss would come here.

This has very little to do with Fisher, but it only proves my point though. Fisher didnt want to come here due to Ireland.

Again, I want Moss, but I dont think him or any other upstart coach wants to actually coach here.

lol sure they do ..... an upstart coach would LOVE to coach here .
we have first class facilities . a history ...... itd look damn good for a young coach to have "turning the Miami Dolphins " on their resume .

That's not nearly the case.

I've said it before.

Proven coaches want a scenario where they can win from the get go.

Unproven coaches want a shot.

For Proven coaches its about a young QB and control.

Of unproven guys its about MONEY and the opportunity to show they got game.

We will get whatever coordinator we want becasue Ross will pay whatever it takes to get that guy.

As for Moss...he'd crawl on his belly through broken glass to get this job.

We'll pay him more than the Raiders. He grew up here...went to college here...

He's going to take the first/best opportunity that comes up.

If Oakland offers him before we even express an interest in interviewing him we have no shot.

If you stack us up against that lunatic franchise...its not even up for debate.

Say what you want...but the facts point to nobody (atleast so far) wants to work with Ireland.

Just because the ONLY person we have actually offered the job to, has not taken it. Does not in any way mean that he didn't want to work with Ireland...talk about reading into things...

Just because there was an relatively unsubstantiated report that we offered the job to Gruden and were rebuffed really means quite little. Their has been no official word of this even happening, just some mysterious "sources".

RESPONSE: He is not Mia1. He's got far too much intelligence. When you have read posts from somebody for quite a while you can identify their writing style just like you can recognize someone's voice.

Like I said in my welcome thread. If he was Mia1 then somebody is totally writing all his posts for him.

That "What is this a football forum or Law and Order" comment won me over. Mia1 would never even have the intelligence to put together such a cool shot.

Tboneabbott

If you're mad at your kid, you can either raise him to be a nose tackle or send him out to play on the freeway. It's about the same.
