Well now i think there is NO shot for Luck! We are going to win at least 1 more that will be against Washington. So now the dilema is who do they draft if they get the 3rd pick? I say trade down a few and get a few more picks
Miami will probably win three of the next five games and maybe win one or two of the last three inter-division match ups. So I think we go most likely 6-10, or 7-9 for the season. Where does that leave us??? Who needs quarterbacks over other needs: Indy (injured and aging Manning), Not Saint Louis they have Bradley....Carolina has Newton now...Cleveland has McCoy...Jacksonville sticks with Gabert. The Vikings have Ponder and Bengals have Dalton..Denver used a 1st rounder last year for Teebo so I think we fall behind: Indy, Arizona, and Seattle. I don't think Barkley is going to be a possibility because someone else will snatch him up.
I know that sounds like bad news, but that's the way I see it.
Barkley, Wilson, and Jones would be my order of pick if we don't have a shot for a trade up for Luck, and that depends on how Jones does now without his star receiver for the rest of the season. He works well with the replacement, then I would move him ahead of Wilson. Wilson, takes apart LSU then I'd move him ahead of Barkley. Just have see how it plays out.
Moore will have a few more good games and Parcells/Irelad will think they are set. We'll take another Offensive Lineman or DB...lol!
Maybe I shouldn't lol. Moore is a streaky player and has the ability to have a good run here and there. But sooner or later he'll show his propensity for making bad decisions and being an interception machine.

I still say we need to be ready to trade up if we can. I doubt there will be 5 great QBs coming out of the draft. 3, possibly (Luck, Barkley, Landry), but not 5. I think this will be similar to the year Eli, Rivers, and Big Ben were drafted.

If that's the case we keep Henne and draft Wilson (who I think is the best QB in the SEC right now). NFL Draft Scout has him ranked 5 out of 125 QBs and he has the size. He may stay his senior year and so might Barkley and in that case we're done.
I think if we get rid of that hedious coaching staff and Jeff Ireland then we still have a shot at being a decent team, maybe Trent Richardson will fall in our laps, and then we just draft two QBs in latter rounds and hope to uncover a gem. Be nice to bring on Mike Shula...he's doing a heck of a job with Cam Newton in Carolina.
If we have the #3 pick in the draft we should bundle it together with the phone number of Ross's high class call girls and several hundred thousand dollars of credit at the brothel for the #1 pick and then go get LUCK!!!
I think I'm starting to lean towards getting on the Mallet bandwagon if for no other reason than to just be there when TreasureCoast finally passes the joint.
"push moore out of the box"? one win and the bar is now set this low? no thanks---this is what I was afraid would happen if we won a game. Imagine if we win 3 or four of the next 8. "We're close" just like wanny used to say

Listen Spielman, trading a first round pick for a guy we passed on TWICE is a horrible idea, and that kind of decision making is the reason that this franchise is in such dire straits.

Yeah that had me scratching my head at first, like who in the hell is Wilson and why is somebody talking about him in the same sentence as guys like Andrew Luck and Matt Barkley in regards to drafting an elite QB prospect at the very top of the draft.
Well I looked him up on youtube. There's not really much video of him as far as I can tell, but what little film on him I was able to see, I will say this, the kid has what looks like a freaking break neck fast release. That being said, I still pray to God we can trade up to get Luck or find a way to trade up to take Barkley #2 as a pretty nice consolation pick
