Date: December 02, 2008 06:22AM No question that Carpenter's work on FGs and XPs has been terrific. He's been crtitical in several wins this year.
He needs to improve his work on kickoffs. He's near the bottom of the league in touchbacks (5 in 12 games), and Jeff Ireland told us he isn't consistently kicking the ball to the designated side of the field (i.e. kicking to the left on 'coverage left' plays).
