The season is over we will win maybe 3 games and we should be in the top five as far as the draft. I don't blame the fans for staying home i would not throw money away to see this garbage. Not sure who to blame and does it really matter at this point. There is always next year right?????????
i am not ready to quit on this team yet... I like what i see on offense and I think we can shoot it out. We missed 2 chip shot field goals and marshall missed an easy td catch that was way enough to win this game. I think if we get these next 2 and are 2-2 we can still make a playoff run.
The important thing is getting a FS that can stop these big gains
OK. I can see we are not winning the division, but predicting 3-13 already? Gimmie a break. We played 2 of the best teams in the NFL. And we didn't get slaughtered. Mistakes were made and lets see how they fix them. We were in both games until Key mistakes were made, both coaching and players.

I don't see us as a WC contender. I see us at the bottom of the division where we belong with this coaching staff. Plus I rather get more top draft pics than be a WC contender. 8-8 gives us crap in the draft. Plus I'd like to see Ross get so ripping mad that he fires sporano and we bet a real coach.

Clevland we should Win. The Chargers are a tough team. Then a bye could change things if we slide in 2-2. Tough order on the road but lets at least wait until that point to throw in the Towel. Com on.

Ok, I'll watch you throw the towel in a few weeks. You too will stop drinking the kool aid.

If we waste this season...and Henne...and draft a QB #1 next year...that will be the biggest mistake this franchise has ever made. Put Luck behind our O-Line and continue our defensive collapses and we'll be sunk. Meanwhile, Henne will either rot on the bench or be successful somewhere else.
really monte? so should we take an OL overall and our franchise QB in the 2d round? didn't we try that already? well we don't have matt ryan but at least our OL is solid. ooops

I say, trade the pick and draft for depth. Last draft I was all for drafting a QB, but Henne so far this year has looked like a franchise QB. To me, he's looked like the best young QB we've had since Marino. He's NOT Marino, but he's looking better than Fiedler, Feely, Beck, Lucas, Huard, Culpepper, Harrington, Green, Griese, Lemon, and, yes, even Pennington (did I miss anyone?). Maybe he's a product of the offensive system, but the system is being built around HIM for a change!

It would go down in history as one of the most idiotic franchise moves in the history of this great sport.
You never, EVER pass up on a once-in-a-decade QB. EVER.

I bet that's what SF thought when they took Alex Smith; or Cleveland when they took Tim Couch; or Indy when they took Jeff George; or Oakland when they took Jamarcus Russell; or San Diego when they took Ryan Leaf (yeah, he was #2, but many people had him graded at #1).
I'd rather trade the pick for an established vet and a lower 1st-rounder.

Yes but NONE of those guys were viewed by EVERYONE as the best QB prospect in a generation. This guy is supposed to be the next payton manning. now of course EVERYONE could be wrong, but I like the odds that they are not.
