Some of us have hoped for Bill Cowher or Gruden to become the Dolphins' next head coach (HC). Why hasn't some of the focus been on Billick, after all, he worked with Nolan. Besides, he is defense oriented having coached the Ravens and under his leadership helped them get to a SB and win it.

I wonder if he would take the HC job in mid season? If so, I would think he'd probably keep Nolan and not make any major changes anywhere until post season. Could Billick's leadership turn things around for this franchise?

I don't know why this guy never gets interviews from anyone. He won a superbowl, and once you do that usually you are very sought after. He must really have pissed off a lot of the wrong people to never get mentioned for any of the dozens of HC jobs that came up since he left BAL.

As for the phins, that's the kind of hire a team that cannot get anyone better makes. So if we hire him, I guess we are that kind of team.

I also watched him make stupid calls towards the end of his career. The most glaring are a couple at the end of the Baltimore-NE game when NE was undefeated. The Ravens SHOULD HAVE beaten NE, if not for the stupid timeouts and play calls by Billick.
