Ginn barely made the roster out there.

Yea, he's a one trick pony, and we all know once he's in space it's OVER...

But the kid had ZERO future here and was a poster boy for ineptitude and draft failure. He needed to go. And his presence here right now wouldn’t make us one bit better IMO.

We have some young talent to develop at WR – and that’s far more important than carrying a kick off returner – especially with the rule change.

He’ll be out of the league in another year…

I agree with BNF.

In other news, Hell has frozen over.

OK, but what were all his dropped passes worth?

Before I go further, I personally am in the wanted-to-keep-him-as-a-kick-returner camp. I wanted Ginn to stay; team brass thought he didn't earn his roster spot because of his inadequacies of a receiver.

But I can see why he had to go. Not only did he have the high expectations to live up to, given the slot he (sorry..his "family"winking smiley went in the draft, but also the fact that he didn't sufficiently develop after his critical third year in the NFL.

Guys, dont get me wrong. The guy is a terrible WR. Probably in the bottom 5% of guys in the league.

But he is a really good returner.

With that being said, I agree with all of you that his time was done here. I mentioned it earlier to Dolphaholic, Ginn's time was over here.

But even with all that said, you cant deny the fact that he is one of the best return men in the league. And I totally agree with BNF, developing WR's are more important than carrying Ginn....

But just ask Chicago how important Devin Hester is to them.

One thing about Ginn, he made plays against the Jets.

I was happy to see that weasel scum Westhoff get embarrassed with Teddy Bears 2 TD returns! Now that was great ST coaching!

Westhoff: a piece of garbage known to loiter at Miami Dolphin training camp and take secret videos back to NY.

Haha. Total toilet scum.

I think Ginn would never be a good 1st WR, but 2nd or 3rd I think he might find a great spot. Kind of like Wes Welker. I'm not saying he is a Wes Welker, just that he could be given some time and a QB that looks around more for open WR.

Either way, giving him up for so little return value makes me shake my head. I thought the draft by Cam was good, and it's showing that it is.

Dude, I want some of what you're smoking smoking smiley

Comparing Ginn to Welker is like comparing Ray Lucas to Dan Marino. Not only is there a HUGE discrepancy in straight football talent, but while they play the same position they're not remotely alike in how they play. Welker is one of the toughest WRs in the league, and Ginn plays like he would break if you breath on him too hard.

Anyone who believes taking Ginn at #9 was a good pick is smoking something serious.

Montequi have you ever wonder how good ted ginn can do with the pats and tom brady.

I really hate to think much more about that.

I'm guessing he'd be much farther down the field when he drops the pass.
