Actually, I like the approach that the front office is taking regarding the QB postion. DolphanMark presented a well thought out argument with convincing data that suggests that Henne was really not "all that bad" behind a porous, third world line. Picking a QB in the first round would have been the sexy choice that most fans would have enthusiastically welcomed judging from the comment

The WC worked very well on occasion last season with Ricky running the ball, especially in the game when Pennington and Henne went down and before Thigpen came in. When used properly in a "surprise" situation it still has merit.

I think it was a GOOD draft (. The O-line was my big concern from last season and it was addressed with the first pick. I would have liked to see another guard taken later but that can be done in free agency later. I'm glad that the offense was the focus.

IF we were just one or two players away I would definitely pick QB, BUTT, we are not that close IMHO. Last draft we addressed a horendous defense in the draft and got pretty good results.
