I was thinking the same thing while watching the Jorvorskie highlights. That boy could run the wildcat maybe. Those of you that have been down on the Wildcat in the past have got to admit that it would be sweet to pull off another upset or two in an otherwise dismal season.

I have a question. I didn't watch any of the "Hard Knocks" episodes and only the third game of PS but I noticed that the guys that had the dreadlocks last season are now clean. Was that a directive from the coach or was it a "unity" thing like the players in the NHL playoffs not shaving? Maybe it was already covered but I don't read all the posts.

There is no way that we start the season as bad as last year, no way. I think the boys will find their MOJO some time after the bye and eek out an 8 - 8 season.

From all accounts most of the receivers have been doing well in practice when the playing speed might be a realistic 7/8 of game day speed. Tannehill named Bess as his favorite go-to receiver and Nannee as his #2, yet at game day full speed Nannee couldn't pull in a single one of his many chances. That looks to me like a timing, rhythm, chemistry issue which should improve with practice. Also, Ta

ESPN ranked BM #10 last season. Who was it that ranked him top 5 ?? Ranking the Wide Receivers 1. Andre Johnson, Houston Texans 2. Larry Fitzgerald, Arizona Cardinals 3. Roddy White, Atlanta Falcons 4. Calvin Johnson, Detroit Lions 5. Reggie Wayne, Indianapolis Colts 6. Greg Jennings, Green Bay Packers 7. Dwayne Bowe, Kansas City Chiefs 8. DeSean Jackson, Philadelphia Eagles 9. Brando

Most fans here were expecting Tannehill to sit for a year. You were guaranteeing it. Most of us were caught off guard when Tanny was named starter. If there were alot expecting him to start on day one and take us to the play-offs then I must have missed that.

Tannehill and his receivers need to develop some rhythm. Can't do that on the bench. This may be a rough season production wise but true fans will stick with the team and bitch and moan because, that's what fans do. Personally, I'm not looking for play-offs, just steady improvement as the season progresses.

At least the defense is playing better. Smith looks capable.

Has anybody noticed that USAirways is painting some of their planes in NFL team colors? I recently saw one painted in Philly green with the eagle on the rudder. They also have one painted in panther colors. My first impression of the new logos was that it would be perfect for a fusilage.

Most of Dan's records have already been bested. In 100 years from now, when nobody is alive that remembers seeing Dan play, there will be so many QBs in the hall that have bested Dan's records that the top tier QBs will be the ones with multiple SB wins. The second tier will be SB winners with outstanding records. Dilfer will not be in the top two tiers but, neither will Dan.

I wonder if his Daddy was a man-Ho (with "mo" below) I'd wager that Ireland was too gun-shy to ask after all the ribbing he took following the Bryant fiasco.

I like the idea of year round football to fill in that long gap between the SB and the following pre-season. The arena league doesn't really do it for me though I do see a great deal of physical talent in some of those games. The USFL could work with the right format. Mainly night games would secure an interested following in the sports bars and not interfere with Summer picnics or trips to the

As Mark already mentioned several times, during the 2010 season when Marshall was inactive for one game due to injuries, the remaining WRs stepped up nicely and won the game handily. I forget who we were playing. I truely believe that we are in much better shape with Marshall gone than some will acknowledge.

I can think of at least a couple of QBs that didn't get a fair shot to be great due to our frequent turn-over of coaches. AJ Feeley gets alot of heat here but was clearly developing as a very capable QB. This past season he led the hapless Rams to an impressive win over the Saints when Bradford went down. During his carreer he always seemed to land on teams with established franchise QBs.

In relative terms what Ross said was not on the same level as Ryan guaranteeing the SB. Now THAT was dunce cap stupid in hindsight when you don't deliver. Welcoming your new QB with a pat on the back and a vote of confidence is rather benign in comparison.
