Bad shape now. Bad shape in the future. Good thing last season was all about winning! The financial cap condition of this team is absolutely horrific. Even Ross the Clown should have enough brains to see that overspending while underperforming is a sure sign your organization is horribly managed. Sure looks like this ship needs to sink even further before there's any legit hope for a

Replacing the gladiator helmet with a skimpy leather skull cap (with optional twirly bird on top) would eliminate the problem. BNF.

Don't know what game y'all watched but I saw a high school game with lots of bone head mistakes = drops + penalties and obviously POOR coaching and game day preparedness on Carolina's part. Cut to camera 3 and look at the perplexed bewildered rather daft expression on Mike Shula's face. And while you're at it -- check out camera 1 and observe how Ron Rivera remained clueless and seemingly det

RE: LUDUPORCU on Cam Newton Gotta say you have a special way with words. It's one thing to have questions regarding a player -- as in a legit opinion based on some degree of subjective insight and/or associative reference as in making a valid comparison. But I find your words rooted in a personal envelop of ignorance and an obvious bias against Mr. Cam Newton because he is a "black

Better to have a small brain when you play football. Airheads are best. Tex Cobb could really take a punch.

Cam takes a lot of flak but the kid has certainly proven he's a special athlete -- so as they say -- it ain't braggin if ya can back it up! Physically he takes a huge number of risks and has proven to be TUFF ENOUGH to walk away. Kind of expect Phillips to run blitz aggressively and make Cam play QB and not Wing T HB. True Story! Watch the game and see. BNF.

Of course it didn't help Marino that he started out in Miami with a very solid OL and a competent coaching staff. Danny would have been just as good -- if not better -- if the OL sucked and our coaches with douche bags. Who needs Gs? Sissy asses like Brady! Our new punter looked good BTW. BNF.

Not really much at stake for me -- tho I voted Broncos. I do believe if the Panthers play their best game the game will get ugly for Manning. Carolina has too much going on at the same time to be put down. Probably something like 38-10 Panthers. Maybe worse.

I don't believe there's anything in place that stops teams from offering "new and improved" contracts after 1-2 seasons, is there? I was unaware Shelby has had off field issues... OV and Miller have been very productive, done everything right (as far as staying clean etc.) hard workers and solid team guys. That's what I see...

That is disgusting! You would think it be smart to catch a player like OV earlier in his contract (once he's proven to be a legit player) and up the ante for him with the benefit of extended t

We have to pay OV fair market value with perhaps a slight home town discount. That's what it's gonna take. Make the cap room as necessary and do NOT go big spending in FA. Build through the draft and develop talent. We can follow that plan at play at least 500 ball next season IMO. Get to 600-700 in 17. And for sure in playoffs with serious upside after that. No more one y

Taking Phillips was right out of the BiggieT philosophy of BIG. I'm no draft maven, but investing in kids who do not live up to their athletic potential in college is pure speculation. You can speculate when you have the luxury of being able to potentially waste a pick. We all know that was not a wise move on our part.

Inept execution does not negate the goal. And -- the goal (objective) of building a high-performance OL is not negated by poor personnel decisions which fail to achieve the objective. "Is that dog chasing its tail?" BNF.

The name Bosa just brings back bad memories to me. There's ZERO chance I'd trade up for the kid. I think he's somewhat of a "system" player. He should be a solid pro -- but I don't see more than that. But hey, I could be totally wrong. BNF.

Yea, Miller has had the benefit of running behind a great OL and what's his yards per carry? 4.6 yards! His initial burst is excellent and the dude is a legit big play threat on every carry. That's what I see. he has legit 4.4 speed and has worked on his game since he's been here. And of course -- he's still ONLY 24 years old! We should get rid of him. BNF.

We would probably be better off trading down R1 if good situation available. I cannot get on board taking an LB that high -- unless you're talking a certified football terrorist. To me, value wise, CB or DE make a lot more sense. Which is also why we need to keep OV. It's gonna cost but I say get er done. I also can't behind drafting a kid coming off surgery. I just don't want to take t

Gotta say I believe OV is solid against the run and losing him would set us back -- a LOT! He's on the verge of becoming an special player IMO. You can bet the farm if he played in NE he'd be killing us play after play. We can't afford to lose young ascending players at critical positions. Just can't do it... My opinion. Of course. BNF.

Let's be real -- poor pass pro will "rattle" any QB -- especially if you're being told to hang in the pocket. Thill suffered from very poor coaching and consistently poor OL play. That alone does not mean he'll be all pro with the proper corrections but it certainly means he's been playing with a significant handicap. I keep saying the same thing -- give the kid good pass pro and

Great video on OV. We have to hope the kid is adding value to the equation for playing/staying in SFL. I really don't think we should let him hit FA if at all possible. Sign him sooner than later. I like Shelby as well but he's far more replaceable than OV IMO. That means we could go CB in R1 and DE R2 and then MLB R3 and then OL R4 and R5 with best avail in 6 and 7. We're NOT going t
