I complete agree with that. You want whoever is brought in to compete for the job. But if between the two kickers all things are equal, then Carpenter is the one that gets his walking papers.

As for kickers - they need to make kicks. Too often teams underrate how important kickers are to winning. If the current kicker can't make kicks, then he must be replaced. Offseason is the time to do it.

I want the player that wants to play for this team. If the GM doesn't sign Jennings, he should be fired.

I think they should demo the stadium and start from scratch. Build it like the Orange Bowl with metal stands 10 feet from the opposing bench. That will be home field advantage.

Does anyone remember Fran Tarkenton? A running QB has been to the big dance a couple times. But he was forgotten because he didn't win. I agree that Keapernick won't run much against Baltimore - not like he did against Green Bay. He doesn't have to, he has a great arm. But he will run once or twice and when he does it will likely be a big play.

The end of the Dynasty is near. No defense. The offense is running out of options. Brady clearly can't make the plays he once could. Looking forward to the Harbaugh bowl. Two tough teams that know how to play the game right.

Keapernick is an incredible talent, and he is signed for many more years. I can hardly get pissy about Smith considering what Miami has for QBs. Since the SF coaching change, Smith has been better than
