I'm a bit confused about all this WR talk, etc. Gimmick QBs do nothing in the NFL, long term. We had the wildcat, and each successive game it was utilized, it gained less yards, until those yards were negative. My question: Can this QB throw the rock? Right now, the jury is out on that question, and we won't know for at least a year.

On the WCO, we'll select WRs with the following priorities: 1. Route Running 2. Hands 3. Toughness/Blocking 4. Size 5. Speed

Right now the Phins don't have a starting RT. Martin is a good pick. As for Long, his health will be a factor. Long's injuries have been a liability, and if he misses time again this season, and doesn't adjust his salary expectation accordingly, then Martin may be moved to LT.

Had we taken Tennehill in the second or third round, I wouldn't be ranting. But a top ten QB - we are married for the next 4 years. And if he isn't a top tier NFL QB, it will end bad. Real bad.

So I say something you don't like and I'm a troll? Trolls usually like and make up facts. Trolls are unreasonable. I'm being perfectly reasonable. I'm looking at the facts. Tannehill is a mid-second round quality QB at best. He has nothing but potential. And while A&M is known for solid academics, it isn't for its known for its QBs. Tannehill posted a very average 7-6 record last

What makes Tannehill so great? His stunning 7-6 record last year? That he's statistically the second best QB from a school where QB has always been an afterthought? That he was drafted at #8 by a GM who can't draft? You are dreaming if you think that, three years from, anyone would rather have Tannehill than luck.

Tannehill is a continuation of the mediocrity that has plagued this team over the past 12 years. Tannehill has done nothing of note in college. The expectation of a top 10 QB is to put the team on his back and WIN, but Tannehill's only year as a start yielded a very pedestrian 7-6 record. Statistically, RT isn't even the greatest the QB from a school of historically less than average QBs. T

Don't fool yourself. Tannehill was only picked in the first round because Ross figured out that all you have to do to sell Tickets for a couple years is draft a QB in the first round. It doesn't mean that Tannehill is any good. But a QB like this one has a built in excuse for the next couple of years. In four years, expect to see Tannehill as a backup on a small market, third tier tea

Looking at the NCAA highlight reels both, I don't see the difference. Both can complete a pass as long as its shorter than 10 yards. Both choke and throw INTs when it matters. Another Ireland pick. Second round talent with first round money. They don't say its a reach for nothing. Expect Ryan and his college coach to be drummed out of town in three years. At least his wife is hot
