We probably could have gotten Stills for a 4th straight up. I'd bet that the inclusion of Ellerbe's disastrous contract up the cost on our side. Overall, I like the deal a lot. We can get back a 3rd by trading do

I love this trade. NFL ready starting speed WR for a 3rd at NFL minimum salary for 2 years. Also get out from under the Ellerbe contract... What's not to like? Next call is to the raiders..."you guys have a ton of cap space you have to spend and are striking out in free agency...we'll give you Wallace for a 2nd?"

If Ellerbe is staying then we aren't drafting a LB unless some guy drops two rounds and he's the best player on our board by a country mile. Frankly, I'm ok with this. I want to see what I have in Tripp and McCain before I invest heavily in drafting a LB. I know Misi gets a bad rap, but if we use him or even ellerbe at MLB they will look much better this year with Suh in front of them.

Late 1st, early 2nd is the same thing to me. If we traded down to the 25-32 range, I'm fine with taking a guy like DGB there. The extra 2nd round pick mitigates the risk. It allows me to double down with

THE Truth
In a nutshell: When you cut a guy the remaining portion of his upfront money (the portion of his guaranteed money you gave him upfront so its impact could be spread over the life of the contract) is accelerated to the year you cut him. So if you cut a guy in year 3 of a 5 year deal you have the prorated portion of the upfront money for years 3, 4 and 5 all accounted for in year 3. If you
