I thought this thread was going to be about my me... Just kidding... I'll admit it felt good to beat the jets, but for me it was like what happens when you eat too much Ice cream... Sure it's awesome when its happening but as soon as you are done you really wish you hadn't gone there and you know you'd be better off in the long run if you hadn't....

Brett Favre, Steve Young, Matt Schaub, Marc Bulger, Rich Gannon, Matt Hasselbeck, Kurt Warner... There's more and I could go back to guys like Plunkett or Unitas but its a different league now. thing is that you can't judge him by what other guys in similar situations do. If you did that you would never take Brady in the 6th round because the history of QB's taken in that round virtually

I can live with that if we moved up to draft a QB this year. If we didn't, and we didn't stockpile picks in next years draft, then there really won't be much of a reason to expect better than 5-10 to 8-8 for the n

My mock would be trade down...trade down...trade down. Draft David DeCastro in mid-late 1st and add picks for next year and one or two for this year. Give yourself the option next year to go all in on Barkely or to stockpile talent for whatever QB you land this year.

In fact, the one Stanford O-line man I like the most is their guard David DeCastro. That kid is a flat out monster. Watch 2 minutes of their offensive highlights and pay attention to which lineman
