All good points.
But the team played well, receiving Yds , Running Yds, we had 3 players at the top recieving, running, and Passing.
I know that doesn't mean squat when they flame out in December, but it's hardly a complete failure by the GM. If anything McDaniels owns the failure. The GM drafted well. Achane was an outstanding pick in the 3rd round. McDaniels keeps throwing screens . NF

I agree with everything you said except the scared part. He's n

Hooligan you bring up a great point I touched on in another thread. SPECIAL TEAMS . Start with the coaching and replace them all. The punter constantly gave other teams better then average field positions. Special teams should be way better tacklers.....and although the kicker did better later on in the season , he was missing extra points!
Our special teams were truly special. That needs to c

I thought Kader Kouou had a decent season.unless they get a turnover it's hard to judge a good CB. You don't hear about them, and that's a good thing. Ramsey is elite. Incredible pick up for us. If CB is available, yes it's going to be a position of need for sure.

Lol. McDaniels is a recovering alcoholic so its not a stretch, but God I hope not. He's got alot on the line. His speech isn't the clearest( marble mouth) at times and his F bombs in every sentence doesn't help.
But he is funny and comes up with funny stuff . He's a great guy and the players love him .........but when shit goes bad let's see how he handles it. Ross is anything but stupid. If Mi

$40 million? I had no idea we were that much over. Holy shit he went on a spending spree!!
Ok. Then. If you approach this logically we know TUA is capable of being great , but he's inconsistent. Why? The oline has done well run blocking.....especially with FB Alex Ingold leading the way. Armstead is a probiwl lineman. When healthy TUA was a different player. When waddle and Hill were healthy

TUA has made/ thrown some killer balls this season. Think back over 17 games.
TUAs knock is INTs late in the season. Hopefully McDaniels can get to the bottom of it. I believe it's fixable. I didn't think he could ever start 17 games.
Our issue remains the trenches. We are fast. Get stronger. Healthier.....the trick is doing this while keeping key players in the salary cap.

You don't get rid of an old torn winter jacket until you get another to replace it.
Franchise Tag him , draft a new back.
That takes away from building on this current team.
TUA did not play well. I'm not make any excuses for him , but the Dolphins have had success they havnt had in a while.
Dolphins can beat the bad teams, not the good ones.
I remember not too long ago......M

That's why they are refusing to postpone it. It's all about Taylorswift. Peacock planned it.......to cash in on her fans. They have been cutting to her whenever they can. It's pathetic.

I agree. Our defense needs to man up and make some turn overs. We need all 3 backs able to run it up thier asses out of thier mouths.

I lived in NYC for 32 yrs. Coldest I've ever experienced was single digits. 8-9* with a wind chill of -5.
Long John's, then sweats , and Carharts . I couldn't imagine playing a game in that shit.fans Watching in that shit almost deserve a win.

That's what the front office should be trying to accomplish this off season. Tell TUA the need for oline to protect your ass

Here's an interesting quote from the late Bob Kuechenberg.
"THE NFL MUST BE A LOT ROUGHER THAN IT WAS BACK IN MY DAY. PLAYERS GET INJURED MUCH MORE. AND THEY STAY INJURED MUCH LONGER. AND THEY DON'T EVEN WORK SECOND JOBS."

I'm not a TUA fan boy , but I think we are putting a little too much blame on him for the demise. He developed chemistry with recievers, lineman , then they go down . Thus game often depends on fractions of a second to be successful. That doesn't absolve him of throwing into traffic in middle 3 times in a row , 2 weeks in a row.......but half this team is on IR. Ross would be a fool to pay him e

Good post.
Just too many injuries. And we still had Buffalo beat. 2 touchdowns were gimmies. That batted pass? Geez..... Makes me want to believe in New Logo curses.95 punt return? Bullshit.
If they don't resign Wilkins I'm going to have a hard time being positive in the future.

I forgot to mention a huge problem with this team:
Special teams. Very inadequate squad.
We had this team on its knees until that 100 yd TD run.

Do not make him the highest paid QB in the NFL. Offer him a fair contract with incentives for playing a full season.
Manning, Elway were far from top form when they won superbowls in thier last seasons.
Get TUA a stud center , extra depth.
Get a stud Corner to play with Ramsey. Another DE , middle linebacker. Go big strong durable instead of lightning fast.

TUA may just need elite players surrounding him. It worked when they were healthy. If they don't pay him the moon and the stars, leave room for linemen and improvements, I'm OK with signing him.
He may not be elite. But he's a pretty accurate Game manager when everyone is healthy.

SIGH. I'd rather be wrong. I was actually kind of delighted I was wrong about him.
Hes not playing like he wants a new contract that's for sure.
If it's the elite players that's lifting him , then pay him accordingly. Let's facecit.....at the beginning of the season when everyone was healthy he was on fire. Offer him a contract for a above average game manager. But we had a winning for
