RESPONSE: I feel you but so many people on this board talk about our offense being SET..and our defensive problems being SOLVED.
So I kinda am being influenced by those people and wondering how we win games with no significant change in

I wondered.
Then I thought, geez, two f

Well, we sold out everything to draft four linebackers and only one offensive player.
Last year, we were 17th on Offense and 22nd on defense, what will that be in December 2010 or January 2011?
Will this Draft lift us up to Mount Olympus?????????
Forum: Miami Dolphins Civilized Discussion
We can keep going round and round the mulberry bush but this will be looked back on the draft where we took IN THE DRAFT, not making trades (before the deadline) but IN THE DRAFT, four linebackers.
We'll just see how that works for us next year.
I know, I'll start a poll and all you people who agree with MikeO (boy that's something else) post our projected offensive standings next year.

I had never previously noticed the Black coach that grabbed for that kid BEFORE Blount hit him!
That coach wasn't confronting the kid because it was a "love tap."
Forum: Miami Dolphins Civilized Discussion
When the "love tap" (why in the world a love tap for a player on the other team) happened, Blount temporarily went back and then charged forward.
Did you see that Jonathan?
Am I saying that the punch was called for because of the force of the push?
No!!!!
Am I saying that Blount hit him out of the blue or even hit him because the guy bumped into him? Hell no.
Come on

Well, rolling your eyes, that's a good exit strategy, MikeO, you need to exit rather than trying to prove that a swing is worst than a punch that lands. People are rolling their eyes at your logic.

Okay folks, look at the video and see if Mike's position that the other guy did not touch Blount is accurate.
oooooh .... I forgot, your point was that they were old friends and he was just trying to get Blount's attention and like a wild animal, Blount swung on his ole friend.
What a beast that Blount is! Hitting an ole friend who just tapped him on the shoulder to say hello.

RESPONSE: Based on the fact that we might regret in the future, for one, not taking Toby Gerhardt with our newly acquired second round pick. Or we might regret not taking Jahvid Best with our first pick and chancing that we might have been able to get Odrick with our second round pick.

I disagree. There really were no Pat White-esque headscratchers this weekend. Even in the late rounds, they got some very nice value. I think Jones is going to turn out to be a steal.
RESPONSE: Actually, I have no problem with any of the picks as players themselves. No, there is no Pat White player.
But what I am saying is the idiocy of picking an undersized non profes

Like you say, berk, it's only a prediction. No one knows the future. Only the future can tell who's right or wrong.
Moreover, as I said, those opinions on the draft take into account the entire draft as a "MOSAIC," i.e., who fits in, who was not taken, what needs were filled, what you are wrong about with respect to what is needed.
It's all just a prediction.
However, that do

MikeO, you've defended this DRAFT a million times by mentioning the off-season acquisition of Brandon Marshall.
So don't try to hide by talking about the particulars of this post.
Regardless of the particulars of this post, when anybody criticizes the draft, you bring up Marshall.

You know, MikeO, when you wrote in another post that pushing someone was "not a crime" and you got jumped on for it by another poster on the grounds that legally it was... I cut you some slack. I figured that you were just engaging in a "figure of speech" by saying that it wasn't the crime of the century.
But now I see that the other poster had you right. You actually bel

Yeah, Crowder. You will be one of the first ones bitching and moaning when we are unable to put any points on the board next season.
I bet at that point, according to you, It'll all be Henne's fault.....even if Ricky and Ronnie are gone through injury.
