LT another gift from the NFL! What is the point of having a salary cap?

The Pats front office and coaching are impressive. The Jets just receive GIFTS from the league.

Sanchez is good, but he plays behind an all pro line with all pro receivers.

The NFL is fixed. It is obvious. Suckers actually pay money for this.

Sanchez was a gift from Mangina.

Of course it helps that the NFL allows the Jets to acquire elite receivers for nothing. Bet the house on the Jets to win the Superbowl. The NFL really, really, really wants it to happen.

Mark, Great analysis. I agree completely. I felt as much when those duds were taken (especially Pat White).

The Jets have not really had good drafts (Vernon Gholston anybody?). Revis and Sanchez are awesome though. The Jets are so successful because of free agency and ridiculously lopsided deals. They have a guy in Cleveland who just gives away first round picks and first round level talent for nothing to his buds on his former team. Plus Rex Ryan is somehow allowed to bring half of Baltimore's defe

Of course there is no rushing game. The line (besides Long and Carey) is made of garbage picked off the scrap heap.

A lot of overreacting after last night's loss. This team is decimated by injuries. But I honestly believe if the dolphins seriously address the interior O line in the offseason, they can be a very good team. For some reason they have been going stop-gap with guys like incognito, grove and other cast offs. Without a strong anchor, the offense is going to suck against good defenses.

It is not so much a conspiracy as all these things have occurred out in the open. Its just no one is paying any attention. Everyone in the media is focused on Brett Favre.

I feel bad for Henne. Tough week for the kid. Oh well, lets see what Thigpen has got.

Henne is decent for where he is in his development. I dont understand all the hate. There are plenty of other positions where you can lay the blame for this team's failures. For example, the Dolphins have no interior O linemen to speak of.

The Jets have the most talented roster in the NFL. It is not about "luck" really. They are stacked. The league turned a blind eye to a lot of shady deals. If Cleveland is so bad how did they DECIMATE the Patriots last week? They are a middling team with a weak coach. A coach who still has a soft spot for his old franchise.

Henne or Thigpen. Doesnt really matter. Dolphins O Line outside of Long (who is tremendous) is utter and complete shite. Until this situation is rectified, nothing else really means anything.

Chansi Stuckey. Exactly. A complete POS. That trade should have been nixed by Goddell. The talent level isnt even close between those two players. It was clearly a case of Mangini helping out his former team. Same goes for the draft pick that Mangina *gave* away to his old team which they used to draft the excellent Mark Sanchez. The Jets gave up NOTHING for that pick except for some practice

Thigpen racked up some impressive stats with a very bad KC team. I like him.

The Jets have too many weapons. The league should have got involved with that bullsh*t trade for Edwards (can anyone here even name the player the Jets had to give up for him?). Then somehow Ladanian Tomlinson and Antonio Cromartie just happen to fall in their laps. I smell BS. The league desperately wants them to win the big show. Given all this, they are clearly the best team in the AFC, may

Deal with the devil? No. Deal with the league. The NFL wants them in the superbowl and the officiating clearly goes out of its way to make sure they win.

They are going to the superbowl this year. The league has thus decreed it.

Why do you people post this stuff? Of course the Jets are about to WIN, apparently due to some lame 15 yard penalty on the lions. and why do they have a NT kicking extra points? If you ever feel bad being a dolphins fan, it could be worse. The Lions are putrid.

The Dolphins never seem to get home calls. Still, there was a real chance at the end there, and it was pissed away by Henning. I am getting very tired of this guy.

Great website. When I get some free time, I am really going to check it out. I would love to join a fantasy football league where you draft every position, not just the skill positions. With these statistics for Olineman and so forth, setting up a league like that is doable.

I think it is a lot harder to find a premier LT than QB. Probowl QBs can be found at every round in the draft. However, it is very rare for a probowl LT to come from after round 3 or so. Jake Long is an awesome player. No only if the rest of the Oline was even half as good as him.

I hate to say it, but the Jets are probably going to the superbowl. They absolutely loaded up this offseason and have all the pieces.

I am not arguing that the Jets don't have a better defense. But they also have some real holes that a lot of people seem to be overlooking. Cromartie has decent cover skills, but he might get his ass handed to him in the physical AFC East. Their DLine is very old and injury prone.
