My first choice is to extend a new 3-4 year contract with Yeremiah Bell. If we can't get him, we should sign Jim Leonhard of the Baltimore Ravens who is a great competitor, just like Bell. I think if we had a shot at Boldin (WR) we should take him, but I don't think we do. I loved Pat Surtain when he was a Dolphin, but I think he is a little too much past his prime now. Haynesworth is valuable,

The Phins 45 minutes ago signed Gibril Wilson formerly of the Oakland Faders, a safety. I don't know how good he is. I was hoping the Phins would sign Jim Leonhard of the Baltimore Ravens who is a real sparkplug of a player. He is always a competitor, just like Yeremiah Bell who would be my first choice to keep on the team.

Patrick Surtain was one of my favorite Dolphins ever, and I agonized when the team lost him to KC of all places(better than to the Patsies). I do think he is getting a little up there in years and maybe has (or will soon) lost a step as a defender. I don't think he is the way to go for a rebuilding team. We need to use a draft pick for a top young cb with a lot of speed(and hopefully with s

What a surprise! All the "know it alls" had Channing Crowder out the door since the Baltimore game ended! I am glad he will remain a Dolphin. He is a really good player, with a very lively, devil-may-care sense of humor which keeps the boys loose in the locker room.

I hope the Dolphins will agree to a new long term contract with Yeremiah Bell, he is one of my favorite members of the team because he is always a competitor. If for some reason the team can't complete a successful contract with Bell, I would urge the Dolphins to go sign Jim Leonhard of the Baltimore Ravens. Leonhard is also a guy like Bell who is always a competitor, and gives his all to the tea

The only way to get respect is to win the next game. I believe Tony Sparano and his staff are working harder than ever to figure out a way to do just that. Screw these sportscasters who don't respect us, we don't need their approval. I think our team sees and hears these clowns dissing them, and it creates greater motivation!

Fasano and Polite are great additions to our team. So is Davon Bess. Wow, this front office really has picked some pockets for the benefit of our team. They may have taken the best potential players the Cowboys had. Thank you Jerry Jones.

Every few years the NFL changes the rules and makes it easier to be a great quarterback. The 5 yard rule which prevents cornerbacks & safeties from blocking or touching receivers is an example. Dan Marino set his records in the 1983-98 era and those records still stand in my opinion because it was tougher to gain yards and to score then. Drew Brees is a very good quarterback and we should ha

This result must be eating away at coach Bellicheat! 11-5 and he doesn't get into the playoffs, but last year's 1-15 team does! Oh to be a fly on the wall in his darkroom.

What a fantastic play by a rookie defensive end! I am so happy for Merling, and I hope he becomes a long term guy with our team. I believe he has great potential and I was very pleased when they drafted him last April.

I miss both Zach and Jason, and I appreciate the great things each did for our team for the past ten years. They will always be Dolphin heroes to me. Hopefully when they do retire, our team will take them back briefly so they can retire as Miami Dolphins.

I have not been one of his biggest fans, but he does seem to be using his skills better in the 2nd half of this season. I hope and pray he has a speedy complete recovery.

Chad Pennington showed a lot of class by not gloating, and by remaining humble. The NYJet fans are not a real classy bunch but that goes back many years. You sure can tell what the NYJet management felt about yesterday's game, however, as their first act this morning was to fire "Mangenius" as they once called him. I am sure the Jet fans will be licking their wounds and nesting fo

THis Baltimore team is extremely tough. We will have to turn our game up a few notches to beat them. Is it possible for Miami to win? You bet your bottom dollar it is possible. But we need a much more aggressive pass rush than today, and many fewer mental errors (penalties). We need for Ricky to continue his sure-handed receiver reputation and not drop any 30 yard + passes. We need for Yeremiah,

I have heard Phil Simms on many occasions, and he is biased against the Dolphins, but it doesn't matter. He just announces, but I agree he is not our best buddy in the broadcast booth. In today's Jets game, that was a very late flag on the intentional grounding. I told my wife before TV showed a penalty that this case was clearly a clear cut example of intentional grounding because Favre ne

I suspect the Jets fans really miss Pennington, and they are cursing Jets management for making that short-sighted decision at the beginning of the season. Not to take anything away from Brett Favre who is one of the greatest quarterbacks who ever played the game, and he is also a great human being. The pro football game is very physically demanding, and I think once one gets up into the late t

I am so proud of the Miami Dolphins. They were far from perfect, but they came together and gutted it out against their most bitter rivals: the hated Jets. The Phins came together and played like a great team should play. When one aspect of the game gets weak, they can count on another aspect getting strong. Any of us who suffered through 1 and 15 knows how great it feels to once again be AFC
