Charlie anderson had an outstanding punt block. Thank You charlie.
The defense played well considering they were going against a hall of famer in brett.
Porter was nowhere to be found. He needs to have a great game against the ravens next week.
Brandon london caught a nice first down reception on third down.
Ted Ginn caught a nice bomb for a TD. Had another oustanding long catch in which he had to adjust to the pass. Awesome.
Ronnie , Ricky and the wild cat was effective today. The jets tried to run it once for a 3 yard loss. LOL.
Ricky had that pass dropped that puts us at their 10.
This team needs Channing Crowder to be healthy. Period.
Andre goodman had 2 ints and played outstanding.
Merling had the int for a td. He is going to be a force next year.
John Denney chocked in this game. He had a fumble which he recovered and a bad snap on a punt attempt. When he came to the sideline sparano was on his case. With reason too.He almost gave the game away.
The jets will regret letting pennington go in favor of old man brett forever.
Pennington is all class, smart , and makes the right decision 99 percent of the time.
Dan carpenter has only missed once this season. Nears perfection.
Renaldo hill missed a couple of tackles there. Needs to play better next week.
Brandon field punt at the end there was a thing of beauty. Ball at the 1 yard line. Game over
Fasano for a 4rth rounder???????????????????????????????? The steal of the year. This guy is just a great football player. And he is young. We will be seeing a lot from fasano in the future.
Overall we overcame many mistakes to come out of this game with the win. this says a lot about this team. Our dolphins just do not quit. From now on we need to be near perfect or we do not stand a chance.
Coach Sparano should be the coach of the year. From 1-15 to 11-5 and AFC East Champions. Enough said.

Agreed. Favre will retire and the jests will be like we were last year looking for a QB.
I want to give the jest a shoutout and thank the dumb@$$es for getting rid of pennington.
He was rocked. It was a really hard hit on the back of his helmet. He looked to be like unconcious with is head hanging down on his way to the lookeroom.
I never thought we would get past 8 wins, and then 4/5 when we struggled at the start of the season. But then Henning ran the wildcat, which kept us alive in games, and bought us some time until we could improve our overall offense.
This team finds a way to win every week and I give them credit. Pennington was key, and when he settled down and got some more experience working with this offense, they were able to start putting points on the board. On the defensive side, the rookies learned and the vets stepped up. Great performances from key vets - Pennington, Porter, Yeremiah Bell and solid pickups like Ferguson and Fasano were absolutely essential to add to the group of rookies including Long, Langford and Merling.
We have plenty of underachievers (like Ginn), and some guys who can't even get on the field, but we also have undrafted rookies like Bess who have stepped up and blown away our expectations.
It's almost as if they're the bad news bears who suddenly became winners. On paper, you wonder why they're winning. I mean, guys like Cobbs and Camarillo wouldn't be starters on other teams if they made the roster at all. But for us, they've been major contributors. They really do play as a team, there are no real stars.
One Sunday it will come to an end, but for now, we can savor being AFC East champs and headed for the playoffs.
I cant help but just notice this little detail. Its completely dumb and insignificant, but we have the exact same record as last year, just the hyphen separating wins and losses has been shifted one column to the right... a bit of food for thought.
I am so proud of the Miami Dolphins. They were far from perfect, but they came together and gutted it out against their most bitter rivals: the hated Jets. The Phins came together and played like a great team should play. When one aspect of the game gets weak, they can count on another aspect getting strong.
Any of us who suffered through 1 and 15 knows how great it feels to once again be AFC East Champions. Getting it done against the Jets up in New Jersey is even sweeter. To think that Coach Bellicheat who compiled an 11-5 record also is home now, season done, all the shouting is over for the season is pretty sweet as well.
We will have our hands full next Sunday as Baltimore is a very tough team. But let us savor the moment of an all wins December, and a home playoff game for our great Dolphin team!

We also have the same record as NE. I suppose you could use numerology to find lots of interesting stuff in football, but it's who wins the games that counts.
