And won even with him struggling. The phins defense helped out. Hope he can have a few great games when the dolphins defense struggles.

Tua will have better games. Games thankfully we got a win in a game where he commited many mistakes. He needs to learn he cant buy time like he did in college against slower dlines and lbs. He lucked out against pats. Ok. Move on and throw ball away next time.

Agreed. I get some kind of relief knowing we adjusted defense at halftime and they had a they couldnt run it in the second half. Especially against a well coached belichick team.

I also read somewhere tua had to improvise and make plays on the go...as macdanield had trouble calling plays in.

Question? Is this herbert 3rd season with same coach and same offensive plays? This is a brand new offense for tua with new playbook. These are very complicated plays in nfl. Herbert has a headstart because of this..

Maybe herbert is as good as tua playing behind this dolphins oline. Is the chargers oline better than the dolphins oline. I know at the very worse we have as many good tends and receivers as them. Its just a matter of in what position you are put in as a player. Dan marino had a superbowl team around his rookie year because he went around 25th or so in the first round. If he goes

Its pleasant to know the ne qb is not developing like the bills qb allen anytime soon. It bad enough we have to deal with allen every year. Id be happy if we can just make it competitive on both contests against bills. Then anything can happen at the end of the game. I dont trust this dolphins ol at all. Its the weakest position by far.

I add to that....we held the to just one score on the second half when all players were tired. Also they had like a 6 yard average running ball in first half didnt run much though as they had abouut 50 yards running the football. We adjusted in the second and they could run after that. It tells me this coaching staff did their job with adjusting to stop run and let their weakness which is their s

Agreed Tss. Players were wide open. Imagine having to cover waddle, who was open all the time without hill last year. And now having hill alonside and also gesicky. Not easy for a defense. Even for a GOAT coached defense in bellicheck. This team will win many games IMO depending on how well Tua and the OL develops thoughout the year. The defense is set. And on offense we have great recei

Why i dont feel good about this win? I dont know. If this dolphins OLine plays like this against the bills defense, tua will be hurt again. I know we were down to our 3rd right OT which is tuas blind side but still. Tua needs to make hill his first option on offense. He was wide open at least 3 times that i saw and he missed him. Holland is a stud in his second year. Needham is a slo

The rookie qb has mafe too many great plays to just put him on the practice squad..imagine if ne or worse the jets pick him up. He has shown too much potential. I thi g its almost a sure thing they keep him. And i also hope im right

He look like dan marino on that first drive against the eagles. Not expecting that all the time but expecting something close to that. His development depends on the oline. Keep him healthy.

It seems like every play the rookie makes is a positive play. Teddy 2nd string though.

He would get sacked over 10 times a game playing along side this Oline.

Lets see. 1. You traded our first to philly. 2. You swapped picks with san fran. 3. You picked an injured mess in tua. With a waddle arm. 4. Our Oline is consisted of 5 busts. Some picked in the first and second rounds. 5. Two Offensive coordinators....Lets see whose ego wins and calls the play this time. Brilliant move. 6. Didnt draft a rb.....Pittsburgh did. 7. We had jamar

No to grandpa. He is almost done. Why would we bet to win superbowl in an over the hill qb?

Man im was pulling for EL PETARDO MOJADO against the bengals. I even betted with a friend against the bengals. And just at the right time when the game is on the line he does it again. Throws into coverage and it gets intercepted. Tannehill can have god as a running back and jesus as a receiver and he still won win a superbowl. He can have all the meaningless stats but what does it matte

Tua is done. His arm strengh is nowhere near as good as it needs to be. Due to all the injuries hes had, its not his fault. This last game against the titans he prooved to have a noodle for an arm. Hes done.

Willwe make it this time or is the ship sinking like it always does. We win out we are in. This isgoing to be our toughest 3 games yet. It would be a miracle if we make playoffs after a 0-7 run. Noone has been able to acomplish this. Tennesee and NE will be two tough opponents but dont overlook NO or youd get burned. All three teams vying for a playoff spot. We are in trouble.

It doesnt matter where you find them. But find them. It could be in the first or 7th round doesnt matter. This has a lot to do with coaching and schemes more than if you pick them in the top or lower rounds.

We struggled against the jets a couple weeks ago until halftime or so. We can't afford to keep on losing players for various reasons and expect to win games. Holard is a huge part of our blitz package. He is playing way better than a rookie should. The jets always gives us fits when we play them even though they are not a very good team. The match up against us very well. Its always been li

what do you expect, simms is a giants faithfull since he played for them, but he is right somehow. Most of tuas passes are short 3 or 4 yard passes. Or short slants. I bet you he wouldnt say that about the chargers qb if he beat the giants. He couldn't. The giants couldn't stop the short passes though. Noone has been able to figure out tuas short passes yet. He is good with the short to

He has shown he has very little value since he was drafted. Inactive almost every week. Can run but can't cover. Still as raw as he can be. No other teams would give a 5th or 6th in a trade to get him. Maybe a late 7th. Maybe. He is been a bust since day one.

When his contract is up he will not be resigned by the phins. Why would we sign a player and have him innactive almost every week?

jsm Quote: Tannehill without Henry has turned into a turnover > machine. Thats because he doesn't have much ability as a qb.

I said Who the hell is this kid when they drafted him in the first. Another no no pick for this dolphins org. He was probably going tolast until the 5th or so maybe later because he was too raw. He is still is very raw after a couple years.

A great center will help a lot yes. Just a little tweak to this oline and it can make wonders. They are playing better lately. At least for the passing game. Still need to open up some lanes for the run game.
