give the guy a break. he made one mistake, and not one I'd necessarily call "glaring". however his article was chock full of in depth analysis of lots of players, far greater than I've seen anywhere else. and it don't cost nothin.

wannstedt is the worst. don't forget the reason we had to give 2 first rounders to NO for ricky instead of a 1st and second is because Wanny moronically kept giving ricky the ball 35 times a game no matter the situation so he hit the yards threshold for the extra 1st rounder (I think is was like 1850 yards). Of course I remember he said something like when the trade was made "if he gets 1800

Can you name one thing HWH did that indicates he did not care about winning but only ROI? I'm not talking about bad moves like hiring Wanny, which may have been dumb but nothing that shows return on investment was the goal

I think those that don't like HWH are just bitter about what he did to the marlins---however, no one in S Fla or anywhere else cares about the marlins, so I don't see why it should matter at all

HWH was a great owner. we never had to worry whether he had money or would spend it on the team. I only hope we will be able to say the same about this new guy.

j taylor will likely be cut. would you rather have him back at lower salary with no draft compensation or peppers thru a trade. I'd rather resign JT--I bet he'd want to come back.

I didn't think he deserved to be fired, he did a pretty good job. The gm who made the stupid decision to cut penny for farve, on the other hand..... plus, he ratted out belicheat to the NFL in the spy gate thing, we should all be happy about that. I bet he ends up in cleveland as their HC.

next year our OL will be SOLID. Add a healthy smiley and donald thomas to our already playoff caliber line, and another year of experience for Jake, and we are in great shape. hope we resign Carey though, good tackles are hard to find (as we all know).

I think Obama's swearing in has to do with the timing of the sale, but not the decision to sell, which was made long before the nomination. I agree it would suck if we lost parcells over this.
