I hate to say it, but Ronnie was probably the least deserving of a pro bowl of any RB who has ever made it. He didn

the fact he wants to play for MIA means nothing. he'd want to play for anyone who gives him a big contract. what matters is that we ain't giving up high picks and a huge salary for a 29 year old injury prone WR.

ESPN announcing that Denver has decided to trade Jay Cutler's punk-as$. I really hope he does not go to the Jets, he would be a huge get for them. I see him going to Cleveland (for Brady or Anderson and some more), Tampa, or Detroit. Hoefully not the Jets!! McDaniels has really F*d this up--but Jay has been a big baby in all of this.

I thinks almost all of these guys will realisitically be there and are positions we would consider drafting in the first round. I am not blown away by any of those options--my vote is trade down.

sheesh, the team does not want Henne to play till 2010. They have named Penny the starter for 2009. If Henne plays in 2009 it means (1) Penny got injured or (2) the team is playing terribly and/or is out of the playoff race. Do you really think they would replace Penny is he was playing well or we were in contention? That is the scenario you think the team is planning on?

with a close 3d giving up a 4th to move up one spot to take carey (who the vikings were NEVER going to draft) and pass on Wilfork. Leaving asied the idocey of the trade itself, the value chart said you should give up like a 6th to move up one spot in the middle of the first round, not a fourth. So very dumb. I am still pissed bout it.

I think we didn't get enough. 32 game starter, 2d year player, and we get the equivalent of a late 4th rounder based on the trade value chart? The odds we end up with a backup G/C as good as Satele with either pick is pretty slim. I think Ireland panicked and wanted to show Tuna ASAP that he got that pick back for the Jags DE. I mean what was the rush?

Apparently for Satele we got a 6th and swapped 4s. Not as good as I would have thought we'd get for him. Remember Shawn Murphy was a 4th, and he can't even get off the bench. I'd rather have had Satele for depth, esp given Grove's injury history. By trading center Samson Satele to Oakland late Sunday, the Dolphins picked up a sixth-round draft pick and also will get a higher pick in the

We got ripped off is the deal is just for a 6th. Satele was a good-not-great 2 year starter in the wrong system. And a 2d rounder just 2 years ago. A young, cheap starting center is worth at least a 3d rounder. The key to the deal and only thing that keeps it from being a rip off is the swap of undisclosed pick part. If we swap in the 2d or 3d, then I will say it was a fair deal for us. Otherw

anyone who's played in the nfl for a season or 2 is worth a 7th--most 7th rounders don't make it out of training camp--I never heard of the guy but for a 7th it doesn't matter

his value is about the same as JTs was last year, so I'd say a 2d rounder sounds about right

I was thinking the same thing. How do Stafford's superior stats prove he is the inferior player? geez--I am starting to think the OP is the same guy who go banned for all of those ridiculous pat white posts.

I never remember a signing where a day later you can't read anywhere about the terms of the deal--years?? $$?? this is what will determine if the signing was good or bad, and no one has reported it.

we could bring in pat white to pay ronnie's role, ronnie to play ricky's role, jake long to play pennington's role, and cam cameron to play the water boy's role. now we're cooking!

that would be pretty solid. however I think brace and robiske will be gone where you have them and 25 may be to high for smith.
