Brandon Fields also had a 3.5m salary / 4.3 million cap hit for 2016. Once Dion Jordan is cut we actually might end up under the 2016 cap for next year.

As a life long MA resident, Deflategate is a big reminder to why I am not a Patriots fan. Deflategate is a big old train wreck and it's entertaining hearing the Patriots and their fans try to justify themselves. The Pats were caught cheating, tried to cover it up, and won't admit to it. Roger isn't backing down and is pushing back even harder. It is like a little kid caught stealing, won't admit

I wonder if smashing your cellphone when caught red handed is part of the Patriot player orientation. First Hernandez now Brady.

The Patriot under Belichick post season success can be pretty much be correlated with a very good secondary play. Ty Law, Rodney Harrison, Assante Samuel, Aquib Talib, Devin McCourty (as a S), and Darrell Revis. The late season secondary injuries correspond to the derailed the 2005, 2006, 2012 & 2013 playoff seasons as well. The Patriots however were able to still win regular season games w

Unless the Patriots have some hidden talent in CB, I think there rule in the division is over. They basically released the every cb from last year except for super bowl hero Bulter (a rookie who barely played). Not having 3 good cb can detrimental to a team success. Rebuilding the entire secondary is going to take a miracle. Every game is going to be track meets for the Patriots. It helps t

Whatever Miami under the cap for this year, will carry over next year. The cap for 2016 is also likely to go up. Between the carryover and the cap increase, Miami should be able to sigh its rookie and be even with the cap if they don't make any more moves. I think Dion Jordan is pretty much a goner. The can recover 3.2M of this year cap room and cut him next year. I think anyone on the above l

I thought 4 games is reasonable given the evidence, history and lack of cooperation. I actually don't think deflating the ball is a huge advantage but altering the ball after the official inspection is illegal. The text messages from deflator from last spring also suggests that this has going on for more than one season. Brady could have been suspended for the super bowl and likely would h

Pro football talk is reporting that La'el Collins can not meeting with teams until LSU finals are done (May 9th). It makes a little more sense why the philbin & exec's didn't join the Dolphin players.

It's not just Buffalo that Miami is competing against. It most likely is all 32 teams. With a little bit of luck he grew up as a Dolphins fan.

I have been a Sparano supporter, but due the event of this week, he is a goner. I wish we were getting Cohwer, ditch Ireland and Nolan if needed. I have always admired Cohwer and it's not a major philosophy shift from the Parcell/Sparano regime. I will take the proven coach who has rebuilt the Steelers many times over the years, he is no fluke. I am not excited about Harbaugh at all. He

RB is a patient runner who waits for his blocks to develop, Miami interior line has been mess in run blocking, so I feel that is why he hasn't had much success this year. RW has done better, because he is more of a one cut and go. He may be on the decline, but I wouldn't be surprise if has success else where in the league.

I think 3 games ago, the broadcast show the Dolphins led the lead in dropped INT's with 30, They must have ended up with atleast 35 or more. The 2 and 3rd worst team had something like 22 and 24, the 4th worst team had 19 int's dropped. Doubling their Int's from 11 to 22 should have resulted in a couple more games won. I hope it's just a freak season not a trend of the db's.

I disagree that Brady would have failed like Henne in Miami's offense and IMO Henne would have failed in NE offense as well (unless the he was coached by NE and fixed his flaws) I know the offense might not be QB friendly and sometime its hard to really know what the mistakes are or intention of play looking form the outside without really breaking down the film. However what I have seen in t

We will be 15th. The other games didn't matter because Miami had a significantly tougher schedule. Oakland winning helped us gain a spot, the only team that could have helpeed us is Minnesota if they won (the strength of schedule would have been close)

I honestly don't see Miami getting in at 10-6. The most realistic way Miami gets into the playoffs is for them to win out and have the NE/NY Jets loser of next monday night, lose another game in addition to losing to Miami. The road is simpler if NE loses to the Jets in that Miami would have division record tiebreaker over NE. If the Jets lose to NE, Miami needs the Jets lose to Pittsb
