Our staffing issues aren't limited to the QB position. Chubb, Armstead, and the X-man are all inactive. Yikes. We can only hope that the Pats make more mistakes and fewer big plays than we do. Go Phins.

By the way, I'm a bit perplexed why we needed to announce that Tua is out for the Pats game. Why not just list him as Questionable and say his evaluation is day-to-day? When they first announced his latest concussion protocol they specified that there was a possibility he'd be cleared by end of week..So why not let the opponent hold onto that possibility, and force them to prepare for both QBs?

With Tua's concussion protocol announcement, I hereby withdraw my hope to make the playoffs. But I still hope we beat the damn Pats. Come on Teddy you can do it.

Well this might explain Tua's throws to the wrong-colored jerseys later in the game. Yeah sit him out for the rest of the year, for safety's sake but PLEASE let us beat the Pats at the very least. Bridgewater starting just might be what forces us to turn to the running game. I hope it works.

I really hope we can win these last two games....limp into the playoffs even if we get a first round exit. That would provide SOME momentum going into next year. But yeah Tua is taking excessive risks with his throws. Even his completions in traffic make me cringe. Completions to the other team are another matter. I agree that we need to continue to use the running game.. ESPECIALLY when i

A lot of you are too young to have seen him play, but Franco Harris, who had a great career with the Steelers mostly in the 1970s just passed away. Harris scored on a deflected pass in a playoff game vs the Raiders in a game-winning play known as the "Immaculate Reception." Ironically, they were about to celebrate the 50th anniversary of this play in three days from today, in a cerem

It's Wednesday and I'm STILL laughing my ass off about this. Not only because it's still genuinely funny on its own, but also because Pats fans are still whining about it. They are still showing the video replay on TV and still are talking about it (seemingly nonstop) on sports radio. I love this. It's Belicheat's time to leave the organization...no it's not, it's time to fire Patricia and al

It's also amazing that I rooted for the Raiders and was happy that they won a game. I can't remember the last time I did that. Pats fans have surpassed Raider Nation in the a-hole category over the years, and yes I live amongst them here in MA. The funniest thing in the world is that the Patsies fans are complaining about the officiating..haha..HAHAHAAAA.... yes, Pats fans...who benefited from

I usually prefer to get beaten by 30 points than to lose like this. Because it (sort of) forces us to make changes to right the ship. And as I said earlier, we dropped two TD passes in the same series, settling for a field goal But in this case at least we showed potential for greatness. That greatness is not happening this year, but if we keep showing efforts like this, we should have some

We cannot drop so many passes, including two IN THE END ZONE ON THE SAME DRIVE, then allow them to convert a 3rd and 17, and expect to win this game.

I'm excited about it, sure. Solid win today, albeit against a doormat of a team. The strength of our schedule is about to go up by a huge factor, so the next few games will be a real test collectively. However even if we don't fare well with our remaining games I'll still consider it a good season.

So that their chinstraps don't chafe. They're holding out for a razor endorsement deal. They're holding out for a beard-trimming-not-quite-a-razor thingy deal. ......The things we focus on during a bye week

I'm motivated by Tua's recovery and performance after all of his cumulative injuries (here's hoping he stays healthy....for his own sake). And as I said in another thread, I'm REALLY impressed how we have multiple capable running backs. Makes me recall the Csonka Kiick Morris days.

I know this may sound silly to younger fans...but it's about all we old timers have left: the undefeated 1972 season (which celebrates its 50th anniversary this year). The last remaining team with no losses for the year, the Philadelphia Eagles...now DOES have a loss, thanks to the Washington...football..guardians....(the hell are they calling themselves now?). oh yeah COMMANDERS. Despite th

It was a rare treat to have the Phins game being broadcast in Massachusetts when we aren't playing against the Pats (they were idle this week, and luckily this game was shown). It was also a rare treat to win by a comfortable margin. Now we need to do this in our remaining division games!!

I've got to add a +1 to what tsstamper said...I am REALLY happy to see multiple effective running backs playing in the same game. And honestly, I can't remember the last time we had more than one RB that made multiple effective running plays in the same game.

Like all Phins fans, I am disappointed about the Ross tampering scandal and punishment we have received (loss of draft picks, etc.). However....losing picks is a LOT better than part of what Ross was trying to pull: getting Tom Brady to become part of the Dolphins organization. Can you imagine Brady coming to the Phins in his mid 40s for this season, and playing how he is currently playing wi

Especially for me, as I reside in Massachusetts. Sunday night....Dolphins win. Not pretty, but a win. Monday night, Pats lose. When that happens, it's always pretty. Fans are booing their own team, EVERYONE is second guessing Belicheat's personnel decisions, and him having his son as a defensive coach. Local sports writers all predicted this would be an easy win for the Pats and marked the

Yeah if we pull off the win, it'll be because our Defense bailed us out AND because the Pittsburgh Defense dropped 2 or 3 interceptions. (I write this while we are up 16-10 with 10 mins remaining.

Uh...coach? when you are in easy FG range on 3rd and 2 and you run the ball for zero yards....you don't go for it on 4th down and get another running play for another zero yards. You put your kicker out there and take the 3 points.

Ok...that first drive ended a LOT better than it started... A false start penalty, then a negative yardage play. But then, wow. what a drive for a TD. Keep it up, guys!

Was pretty cool to see Griese Csonka Little and Warfield at the coin toss. Zonk walking with a cane, but they all looked pretty good.
