I agree with the coaches. We lose our home field advantage by making the visiting team comfortable. Screw the visiting team. Yes I know this is a money-driven thing. But it'd be nice if our owner actually put *winning* at a higher priority.

This goes hand in hand with the "let's tank the season so we get a high draft position next year" talk. By the same people who complain that we have crappy drafts every year.

Boy did Ronnie just screw himself out of how many million dollars when his contract comes up? His stock/leverage with other teams has gone to doo doo just because he won't get a designated driver. I used to think he was intelligent too.

Signing Haynos now isn't such a tragedy. If we get better TEs in the draft or through trades between now and the end of preseason, we can always cut Haynos and that's the end of that. Of course I'm assuming that the terms of his deal are not heavy with signing bonus $. JC

How far back in time are we talking about? There are dozens of players from the 70s that are virtually unknown today largely because millions of today's sports fans weren't born yet.

But if he must be remembered, a different image comes to mind involving a specific jersey from an aforementioned New York team containing the number 56. I almost posted it here....but that would have been in poor taste.

Will you calm down and lighten up for pete's sake? Take it easy. You know I've given you credit for predicting stuff, like Wilfork's franchise tag $$. Your total lack of anything resembling a sense of humor is quite notable......and even a bit funny all by itself. For anyone to take that post of mine seriously, c'mon. Who's calling people dumb around here? By the way, when I typed

I thought we were on the hook for some sort of roster bonus or something if we didn't cut him before today? I hope I"m wrong about that.

But Konrad isn't the only example of this. The fullback position had been abandoned in the league in general and on our team for what seems to have been decades. FINALLY we have Lousaka

I'm not saying he definitely won't succeed (as will about 100 posts from others following this one) but I think he's a lot more suited for a backup role, possibly doubling as a receiver because of his size and strength. I'd take him as a later-round pick if he's availabl
