Yes, we did miss the boat. Perhaps some day this team will bite the bullet and draft a QB in the first round again.

If lockout is code for Chad Henne and actually playing some good teams at the start of the season, then yes.

No problem. I'm not offended by the statements of delusional individuals.

What does it matter if they are playing well right now? They haven't played well when it MATTERED. They gave up and lost three pathetic, gutless games to end 2010. Remember being 7-6 and then dropping to 7-9? We're 3-7 after two losing seasons. We got three wins against teams that are struggling. The Chiefs have been a Jekyll and Hyde team, the Redskins haven't won in over a month, and th

What was the score in the Jets game again? What was the score in the BROWNS game? Smoke and mirrors.

It's not who we are, it's who we're playing. If Colt McCoy throws a bonehead pick and Rex Grossman doesn't, what's the difference? We look good against garbage teams, yippee.

This is the Wannstedt era all over again, and the sooner we crash, burn, and move on, the better.

The Bills have been blown out three weeks in a row now and Fitzpatrick has had 5 games with multiple picks this season. Again, it's the same story as last season. Beat up on bad teams and then get stomped 34-6 by the Jets or some other squad that shows up to play real football.

No playoff hopes, Matt Barkley looking more and more likely to declare? Yes, I'm still rooting for losses.

... same stuff, different year. The Dolphins have once again proven that they can beat up on bad quarterbacks. Matt Cassel, Rex Grossman, Ryan Fizpatrick. Three guys who are either below average or simply bad. We saw this last year with wins over old man Favre, Trent Edwards, etc. While it's nice to see that our team has some adequate pieces going forward, we're still 3-7 and we still ha

Winning these games is terrible. We're going to be stuck with another year of Sparano.

I'm not sold on Landry Jones. He played the dead ranked last pass defense (120th out of 120 schools!) recently and completed less than 50% of his passes. From what I've seen, he's late getting his throws out and he stares down his guys. Cannon arm? Great. Chad Henne has a gun, too.

I think Andrew Luck will be better than Matt Barkley, but I think Barkley is a sure #1 pick in almost any other year. I like the guy and I will be flat thrilled if we get him. I've actually been on the Barkley bandwagon for a while now and I'm glad to welcome you guys aboard.

They didn't even show highlights on Football night in America. They just mentioned the game in passing, showed one play, and moved on to the next game. To be honest, I'm surprised we aren't used to this by now. Nobody wants to talk about the Heat unless it's to bash Lebron or whatever, and nobody wants to talk about the Marlins unless it's to mock the team for having an empty stadium. J

Not if we keep winning these meaningless games and the best QBs are off the board when we get to pick.

When Peyton came out a few days ago and admitted that the procedure hasn't yet started to produce any desired results, I don't know if there's anything else that needs to be said. The guy needs to go visit a faith healer or something because a miracle is exactly what it's going to take for him to come back and be an elite QB again.

Peyton Manning by himself makes that team a contender. You think that armed with that knowledge, they trade down? Are you nuts? They know Peyton is done. They're taking Luck. The only weapon we have here is that Luck could pull an Eli/Elway (and based on the horrible, venomous infighting going on in the Colts organization right now, he might just do that).

He was very, very nice in that game yesterday. He threw a beautiful bomb 45 yards in the air right into his receiver's hands in stride and the guy dropped it at the 5 yard line.
