It is any number of things. Are the WR's running the deep routes getting open in one-on-one situations? Are they facing double/triple coverage? Does the play have enough time to develop? Is Henne getting the time he needs to go through his progressions? Is he locking in on his receivers? There is just so much more going on than what we think we see...

782. Re: Henne
It takes the right QB in the right situation...with the right coaches, right supporting cast, some lucky breaks...that is when we see these young QBs succeed. You think Flacco would have done as well last year had he played for the Browns? What happens if he goes to the Pats? Or the Raiders? Big Ben came out his rookie year and went to the SB because his surrounding cast was unreal. Ma

I've taken dumps that make more sense than some of those power rankings.

It is a long season, and ANYTHING is possible, but things do not look good for us right now for this year.

I agree. Henne's play has actually not surprised me. You don't play for Michigan against Ohio State, Penn State, etc and not be comfortable in pressure games. Henne looks good. Our WR's need to stop dropping everything that is thrown at them.

Ginn, that catch was so close!! If only you could have gotten more than two hands on it, I'm sure you could have hauled it in!! **Clarification for A&O, because I know he'll need it**: Not blaming the loss on Ginn. I'm blaming the drop on him. **Clarification for MikeO**: Ginn sucks.

And show up today? I know everybody who still has their blinders on are riding high from your 2 return TDs last week, but I know the real story. You didn't catch a single pass last week, and that is not going to fly. Keep up the returns, but let's try to get open today, hm?

This is only an issue because the people who cry "foul" are just looking for attention. It's pathetic. Why does everything everybody says these days need to be examined under a microscope? It is what it is.

Hey MikeOwned, isn't it annoying when people put words in your mouth? Maybe a dose of you own medicine will help shut you up.

Every now and then MikeO gets this false sense that he is right about something. It's cute.

You guys need to learn to read. We've all been saying that he is a crappy receiver, which so far, he is. I don't think anybody here said he shouldn't return kicks, but if you can find that post, feel free to quote it.

Hahaha, I haven't placed the blame solely on Ginn. I said he is the most visible of the ones making mistakes. I said he is a crap receiver, that's about it.

It's all about being politically correct, and even then there is a double standard.

You want Ginn, a guy who wouldn't take a hit for a million dollars, to run slants? I mean, yeah...it makes sense in X's and O's, but since when has Ginn shown any ability to make a play under pressure? Ginn runs a slant and all he's thinking about is that safety.

Good, because every time Bob Griese broadcasts for my Nittany Lions, all he does is talk trash about them. Yeah, your son went to Michigan...I get it, but the bias during the announcing is unbearable and shouldn't be allowed. Remember how fired up some of you were on Sunday when the announcers wouldn't shut the F up about how GREAT the Saints were? Well Griese is guilty of doing that to

Like I said in another topic, the higher profile position you play, the more criticism/praise you will get. It comes with the territory, and you either correct it, or find somebody who will execute. Of course I want to see Ginn streaking down the sideline catching TD passes, but not when he's going to let the ball bounce off of his hands. I'll be more than happy to eat my words and send

I think we ALL saw Ted knock the ball out of Sharper's hand, but the fact is that Henne LAID THE BALL IN HIS HANDS AND HE STILL DROPPED IT. Then Henne hit Ginn IN THE GUT and he dropped it on that last drive. Yeah, this topic is immature of me. Sue me. I watched every snap of that game and I feel like every time Ginn had an opportunity to make a game altering play, he blew it. I know

Rooting against him is the wrong way to look at it. I'd just rather see players who can, you know, PLAY, step into his spot on the field since he CLEARLY does not want to take control of a game when he is given the opportunity. I've had it with Ginn. I agree 100% with reducing his playing time. If he ever becomes a "player" then I'll be all for him stepping back up into the st

Since when has this coaching staff ever NOT kept bringing in new guys? I feel like they do their best to put the best players on the roster on the field every week, and I'll continue to support this staff because of it.
