Phinsfan2 "Go get the rookie QB. Give Thigpen the starting job next year, I really don't care. If you are right We can trade him for picks. But when you finally wake up and realize you are wrong, then mallett will be able to step in and play." And maybe we can get Mallett without selling everything for him. Then that would be nice.

Bring in a new HC Do what ever it takes to move up and draft one of the top 3 QBs. Results: The team won't inprove for about 3 years as we will not have draft choices high enough to build anything better that what we have. Then the new coach will be gone as most teams only give a coach 3 to 4 years at best. Just my opinion. Build the team, bring a vet QB or if we are lucky draft one in th

Guys read what I wrote. They do need a defense. Buuuuut we don't know who the new coach will be and even though Tebow is well liked by the fans will the new coach want him as a project? If they get Harbaugh wouldn't he want his own QB? Just saying.....

Denver has the #2. Everyone here says they should go defense. Well we don't know who the new coach/GM will be but Elway is looking at Harbaugh. If that happens I would think they will draft a QB. That means Tebow and Orton are expendable and Denvr needs draft choises and players. Maybe this could play out for the Phins. Trade for Tebow? Trade for Orton? Thoughts?

I did not see the game and I'm glad of it. From what I have read and heard the Phins just laid down and died. What a shame. I did watch the Broncos. They played a superior team in the Chargers. The Broncos came out fired up and played like it was a playoff for the whole game. Their Defense sucks and it showed in the second half. What really gets me is how this team rallied around the inter

Bowden would not let Elway buy into the team in the past. That part is up in the air. Elway will be named VP of Football Operations very soon. If the Broncos beat the Chargers this weekend and Tebow does well, you might see Elway keep Studesville on as HC. He has great credentials and comes highly recommended by Shannahan. Could happen, but then again might not. I don't know if I like Spara

The play calling is bull. That is obvious. What is not obvious is whether Henne can improve with the right coaches. We won't know that till next season. Now don't get upset guys, I still think we need another/better QB. Please, just don't sell the farm for him. We are to close for that.

Colone. Nice post. I doubt that many here even knew that Danny Thomas was an owner for a while. They probably don't even know who he is. ChyrenB "So what's your definition of knowing football and how do you put any one of the Dolphin owners above the Robbe family?' Show me where I said anything like that. Robbie brought in Joe Thomas as GM. Joe is the one that built he team. He also

"The only other franchises that haven’t taken a quarterback in the first round since 1998 are the Chiefs, Cowboys, Patriots, Saints, Seahawks and Panthers. (The Seahawks acquired Matt Hasselbeck in a trade that included a first-round pick.)" I'd say that this proves that a good GM and QB coach are worth their weight in gold.

209. Re: Orton
"Browns? When was he on the Browns? His first season was on a very good bears team that won what ...11 games, with the best defense in the league? His second season he didn't even play on a Bears team that won 13 games without him. Last year the Broncos won their first what 6 or 7 games, had a top 7 defense, a top 5 WR and a 1st round RB that nearly posted a 1000 yard season. Jus

210. Re: Orton
"That's a bold statement considering the fact that in 4+ years as a starter he has a .500 winning %, a career passer rating under 80 and a career completion % under 60%. And its conservative because you are willing to trade some valuable chips for a decent QB but not enough valuable chips to go get a difference maker at QB. That's playing "not to lose" Its the exact same wa
