I'm a firm believer in having a solid OL (RIP Jim Langer!) but I still like the trade.

What a loss. One of the unsung heroes of the perfect season. Tremendous center.

And by the way what is up with the Indy fans booing Luck off the field? Granted he should have made sure that the news didn't break until after the game was over. In other words, don't tell anyone until then. That's the thing I expect to see from fans in say, New York, and to a lesser degree, Miami. I can picture Jets fans doing this and unfortunately, I've seen Griese and Marino get booe

He's not too old, I wonder if he rests up (the guy has multiple injuries) stays in shape for a year or two, will he want to make a comeback later on.

Yeah that is silly to say Luck shouldn't have been drafted by us if we had the chance. After all, with a different team, different coach, different supporting staff etc, it may well have worked for him. I'm just not in favor of giving away an entire season for the opportunity. So if you could go back in time, you'd trade Luck as a Dolphin for having Tannehill here. and we'd have been better

Just read this on the crawl at the bottom of the TV screen while watching baseball. If true, kind of a shame that this guy didn't get a ring. Seemed like a decent guy with talent that worked hard. Also kind of a shame was the whole Suck for Luck phenomenon. Which a lot of people repeat every year with (insert name of hyped college QB here). This is a big reason why I will never be in fav

Sounds ridiculous to me, but I'm not surprised that they are chasing profits. The strangest part to me is that I believe they'd make MORE profit if they televised the game, at least it other markets. Millions of people would see it who do not have the option of attending in person. Those people would see all the advertisements, which gives the league more profit. So I don't get that part of

I don't know about 0-16, although I know you and a lot of people would root for such a thing. I agree generally with your points though, judging only from my watching the highlights. A couple good catches maybe a couple good pass defense plays....and...that's about it. Would like to also hear other accounts (mostly from anyone who saw the entire game) of how we looked against Atlanta.

I thought the same thing about Zach and Nick. They had different backgrounds and played in different eras, but definitely tons of similarities in their play and leadership.

Snippet from an archived Sports Illustrated article I found about Nick: "Buoniconti was the only player to survive telling Shula, in front of the team, to 'shut the f--- up.' " That should tell anyone all they need to know about the level of respect that Nick had from his teammates and his coach. This is why he was Captain of the defense, a successful executive, lawyer, agent, a

Add me to the list who fondly admired Nick. What a great professional, leader, and person. As a middle lineacker, 5'11', 220 lbs. What he lacked in size he more than made up for with smarts. RIP, #85.

Rick Weaver was the "Voice of the Dolphins" on the Miami Dolphins Radio Network (which understandably, must not have affiliates in California). He called the games on the Radio for a good 20 years. Listened to him many, many times as a kid on my handheld transistor radio. Even when games were televised, sometimes the TV commentators were so bad it was better to turn down the audio on

The only logical explanation (not that there needs to be one), is that this is part of an elaborate Tanking strategy by the Jets.

This discussion has become pretty pitiful as well. Topic closed. How about we talk about the team we are all fans of, instead of about each other being right/wrong etc.
