Thanks for the responses, guys. I seem to remember a place that would make them custom (for lesser known players) but I'll keep looking! $250 is beyond my budget! Fanatics may be the place I bought from in the past. Will let you know what I find out. Thanks again.

I haven't bought a jersey in a while. The last one I bought was a gift for a family member who is a fan of Tua, and IIRC it wasn't a true replica jersey (translation: it didn't cost a whole dorkload of money). But that was several years ago. If indeed anyone out there has bought a jersey 'recently', where did you get it? Was it a good value? If it matters, I'm considering non-marquee players

The saddest part about that is he doesn't even need to worry about home game ticket sales.... as long as he keeps filling the stadium with visiting teams' fans. Funny you mention Deion needing to shut up. I’ve been saying that for decades but was always told I was just a hater. (Yeah guilty as charged—I hate the Cowboys). When he was talking crap on behalf of himself, he put pressure on himself to deliver (which usually, he did). But by doing that to his son, he put the kid in a bad position and it shows.

I'm a bit late posting this topic, and I'm about the furthest from being an expert at all things related to the Draft, but I somehow found this intriguing: Sanders had a high visibility college career for obvious reasons, and I thought he'd get picked at least in the second round, but he dropped like a rock and was avoided like the plague. At first I heard a local sports-hole (that terminol

I loved that Christian Wilkins was a Dolphin, and was REALLY sad/mad to see him leave. Often I wonder about 'what if' scenarios such as....what if Wilkins had remained a Dolphin...would he have not had that major foot injury? Obviously he would have had different opponents, game scenarios etc so obviously that's a silly thing for me to wonder about. There was even a rumor that Wilkins might

Wow two compliments in one thread. I think I should visit the board more often. I'm still in disbelief over this. RIP Curt, we'll discuss the draft very intelligently, in your honor!

This was a total surprise to me as well. Hooligan, You unintentionally paid me one heck of a compliment by suggesting that I was actually Curt. I just haven’t had much to say lately and am having a very busy work schedule lately. I have had the good fortune to meet Curt inside and outside of Dolphins circles. RIP

I have a different reason for hating the Bills. — it’s because I work with a bunch of their fans. I will have a good day at work tomorrow. And I have a different reason for not-minding if the Chiefs win the SB. If Patrick Mojones wins three in a row, that makes him better at something than the worst NFL commentator out there, Tom Baby. Mojones would also be one step closer to earning mor

Local (to Boston) jock-sniffing sports radio hosts have a collective stiffie over the thought of Belicheat reuniting with Tom Brady to coach the Raiders. This comes about because the Raiders canned their coach. Yes, Belicheat recently signed a contract to coach the UNC Tarheels. But according to what I heard on the radio yesterday, The buyout clause is 'only' one million dollars if they wai

Draft an early round (but not first round) QB, he beats out Tua in training camp or early on in the season for the starting job (unless Tua hurts himself again beforehand). Tua rides out the season riding the pine...and he's gone after next season. Sounds simple doesn't it

The only thing I'd add to the original post on this thread: in addition to the Hurricanes paying the bills, it's really the Opposing Fans that pay the bills (this applies to the canes too, actually). If the visiting team's fans didn't show up to JRS, you could go bowling down the aisles.

It could be due to a quirk in the message board software that doesn’t allow internet addresses/links to be posted. If you take out the http, dots coms and stuff it might work??

Game was not shown in my area/on my cable package. I probably would have puked watching it but I agree a win is a win, and a Jets loss is also a win.
