Fan reactions so far: Whining about the officiating. "The PI call against the Pats late in the game was bogus" Well, take solace in the fact that Tom Brady received 20 lifetimes of bogus PI calls going his way. No tears for you, Patsies. "The hit on Devante Parker was blatant helmet targeting" No, not really. There was contact with the lower facemask which jar

I can't wait to hear sports talk radio this week up here. Thanks to their win last week against the Bills, the NE fans will be split between those who want Belicheat fired, and those who want his sorry cheating ass to stay.

OOH...I'll take that little shot of karma right there with that tip and pick-six. Shove that one, refs.

The referees in this game haven't heard of the facemask penalty. There have been two blantant grabbing of our players' facemasks with our guys' head being snapped back and both times the refs didn't call it. bunch of crap.

Most notable to me was their OL facemasking our DL one of their TD drives. the guy's head snapped back and the line judge somehow didn't see it? bullll-sheet!

....because that helps us in the divisional standings...but that also means that the Patriots won. Bleah. A story leaked out this morning that Belicheat actually and secretly signed a contract extension during the offseason, so that sort of makes him less likely to get fired this year. but the could do that if they really want and just pay him (the Krafts have that kind of cash). That's nice that people are writing positive things and all. And I hope they are 100% right. This will be a good test, playing against a championship contender team (our previous opponents have mostly been rather sucky teams). Go Phins, beat the "Iggles" (as Mandich used to say)

Even though he has gone on record saying he isn't coming back, he said something really great recently: Brady was interviewed about the injuries and such and wondered out loud if the NFL would become flag football (probably in the context of flag football becoming an olympic sport). Gronk's response? What everyone else was already thinking: ------- “You’re a quarterback. I mean, i

Whew, I'm in a much better mood now. I was so worried that we all were being too confident in that comeback. My only worry now is our backup QB situation. Stay healthy Tua.

.....until I saw him on the sidelines watching them blow out the Cowboys the other day. I wasn't paying full attention but I thought I heard the announcers say Brian had a hand in drafting Purdy. At very the least he has a hand in COACHING the guy and I guess deserves partial credit for Purdy's success so far. Wow. If the 49ers keep this up for a few more weeks, Brian's gonna get a call

Ugh, hopefully just a bruise that he can recover from with a few weeks' rest. I am glad that we have the other guys on hand. None is as fast but they are all solidly good. We should keep two of them in the backfield on most plays and keep the opponents' D guessing oh, and no more fumbles!

It was a good run - not just because of the yardage but he made some good cuts. And I know Denver was not exactly motivated, but still a very good run. OK it's settled--we are stacked at Running Back. I still hope Achane isn't s

We pulled out the win, but instead of 31-16 it should really have been 31-6 because we gave up one TD on an 100+ yd pick six, and a FG as a result of another interception. If a few things would have gone differently we could have lost this one. HOPEFULLY Tua will be shown lots of film this week. He can't take those risky throws that often. He has a very good running game. He should just ha

Ok that was a GREAT drive by us to make it 31-13. All runs except for one pass. As the tv announcer said, "that is how you respond to a turnover." Next time we get the ball, run it again. Chew up the clock and get a score.

Well, Mostert fumbled...luckily it went out of bounds. Tua almost threw an INT in the endzone. But then thanks to a great catch by Waddle we have a TD.. We are lucky that we didn't turn it over twice on that drive. Be careful out there guys!
