I think this is a good year for us to take a chance on reaching for a player like Tavon. Assuming we still add a veteran CB (Grimes?) and OL (Winston?) in FA, we will have 'latitude' (Philbinism) in making picks.
Our team is already chalk full of younger 'developmental' guys, so of our 10 draft picks, only about 6 or 7 will prob make the active roster. Trade up, get top notch talent, draft th

10 wins, Henne secures his spot as the QB of the future, the run game struggles, forcing the pass. Henne throws for 4000yds.

No doubt on the Gates effect. Livas, not so sure. I wonder if there is even a spot for him on the 53. I like that he showed poise returning punts, and def think that he can earn his place by continuing to take care of the ball and possibly break a few more runs. But, one botched catch or hamstring pull could spell the end. Hope he lights it up and becomes our dynamic returner. Marlon dropping wid

Reggie was right when he said this offense is 'LIKE' a WC offense. Love what I see so far from Daboll. I really felt Henning was doing this team a disservice.

he looked great. still missing those open deep balls tho, but his progress, hanging in the pocket, making plays, making pre-snap adjustments.. well done sir.

Henne looked great, despite some not so great route-running (at times) and a few drops (FASANO!). Still struggles with that deep ball, one to Hartline, another to Clyde that couldv'e been big completions. But I loved how confident he looked on the line pre snap, and also making plays in the pocket (who knew!). Also like his ball placement. If he is going to miss, do it in a spot where the defende

I think people have lost their minds with Henne, probably more a product of our organization than him. I think he will be better this year. Regardless of that, we should've taken Mallet. Just like we should've taken Ryan. It really is getting painfully old.
Pat. White.
Sigh.

The funny thing about this whole Orton deal,
let's say the Fins find a way to get him for a reasonable deal, maybe a 5th rounder and a restructured contract, maybe 4yr/24mil, and Orton comes in here, and does not excel, we go 7-9 again.
Now what? Who is held accountable? All these same "fans"/"writers" will be the first to blast the front office, but they definitely won

Glad to hear IAF looks good, I also think he has potential. OLB situation is looking pretty good. MLB as well. Does anyone know how Edds is looking? I heard he came back in great shape. Also think Spitler could stick around.

I hate to hear this, even more than I hate to hear about all his check downs. Sounds like he is not impressing anyone. I want to be positive about Henne. But he needs to show something! He seems like a broken man to me. Ready for failure, not really 'getting after it'. Hope I am wrong, but maybe this is already going beyond his skill level and into his mental toughness.

I think this move is a no-brainer. I agree somewhat with Panteraize (although I see JT only as an OLB at this point, no way he hits the Line), in that we have guys that are better at the position, and I wouldn't want to go crazy taking too many snaps away from Misi. I also like Alama-Francis, so this might hinder his development somewhat (or help if you believe in the 'mentor' stuff). Either way,

I agree that Hartline deserves some love. I like both Moore and Wallace, but the notion of cutting Hartline to keep either one of them is beyond ridiculous. I'll take Hartline over Plax (today) all day.

If the Orton deal resurrects and actually goes through, it'll be on favorable terms for the Dolphins, and Ireland could come out looking good. Although I do not think this is a ploy. They are going to ride the Henne train. Insert Optimism.

Hear me out:
Think about all the holes we have plugged in the past few years. Our secondary is looking solid, Vontae has Pro Bowl written all over him. If somebody can shut down the 2, maybe a healthy Will Allen or an emerging Nolan Carroll, and our Safety play continues getting better, that's a good unit. And our front 7 rotation? Looking very good. We have a great pass rush (finally) and are
