plus he's 29 and on the downside of his career. No thanks, not for a second...not even for a third.

that's the signing I'd like to see... Bring in Orton for a 3rd and we'd look like a real football team again.

ha could be said for both i suppose i'd take Palmer if we could get him for a 4th or higher and draft someone next year.

i mean picked later in general, the next year etc... but having a stud left tackle sure has won us a lot of games you get the point I'm trying to make right? i don't buy the 'don't draft a qb if we have no one to protect him' argument.

Jake Long is a fantastic player, I'm glad we have him. But...I'd trade him for Matt Ryan in a heartbeat. Ryan is good and will continue to improve. We could have gotten a stud LT later, and lower in the draft.

no way. he's inaccurate, can't read a D and is a complete mental case. Not worth it at any price. If he were going to be a star he would have been one by now. His physical tools aren't enough to overcome the rest of his limitations.

i'd pick him up in a heartbeat for the right price. it's been covered in this thread, he's a match up nightmare, he can be a change of pace back and he can return punts.

Ingram should be the pick. He won't be though. I would bet money that we trade down and take a guard or similar. This organization doesn't pick impact offensive players, they don't know how to do it. We won't pick a QB at 15 either. Forget it. This regime is on the hot seat. They won't be picking someone to groom, they want someone who can play right now and win. Look for a sub-par vet sig

We should have a look at Gholston. He's young and can be had cheap, change of scenery might help him.

absolutely go get him. Marshall and Rice would be a premier receiving duo.

i think part of the problem is that he has been coached to not make a mistake as opposed to go win the game. Poor coaching is at fault.

I agree. Our running backs were bad...old, slow etc. Add in the play of the line and the archaic coaching and we never even had a shot. Leads to double coverage on Marshall all day. I really wish we'd draft a premier offensive player at his position instead of all this 'value in the later rounds'. Good teams are built by drafting good players, not pretending someone in the third or fourth rou

what kind of value is added by trading him for a 3rd or 4th round pick? He's becoming one of the premier slot recievers in the league...would we spend the pick trying to replace him?

I think he can. Dan Henning was a joke. Our running backs sucked. Draft Ingram at 15, run plays that are from this century and things will start changing immediately.

finally some sense from the front office. Parcells did build a nice 1980's football team here though.

I just don't see anything in this year's crop of QB's. I stand by Ingram, he's a first round talent in a position we need. If not him, then I hope someone falls in love with one of the QB's and we trade down and get back our second round pick. I agree, Henne played scared. I think that a lot of that comes from poor coaching, including Sporano's micro-management. He can be coached out of that

Hey there guys, this is my first post. Not too many Dolphins fans around me so I was hoping to put my thoughts out for next year. First off, I'm excited about the defense. I think next year we'll continue to improve on D under Mike Nolan. Vontae Davis is going to emerge as a premier shutdown corner, Sean Smith might actually learn to catch a few interceptions. Wake is the real deal. Dansby is
