It’s called market value. Im sure the FO would have gladly traded Landry for 20 first round picks if there were takers. Now, if we had Don Corleone to make them an offer they cannot refuse, maybe things would be different.

Primary pursuit in first rd every year is to get the winning QB, a QB that wins in his rookie contract, like Ben, Brady, Wentz, Russ, so that you know you have the Qb and can extend him and go for more SB runs. Until we have that, we do not have the QB. And we do not have the QB right now. The team invested in RT, Philbin trained him to an okay level. Then they extended even though he did n

Cannot draft Rosen. He wasn't a winner in college. It will not happen. you cannot draft a loser in college in first round. I know we did that with Tannehill, he wasn't a winner per se, had only one year of production. But we did it, made the mistake, lived through the grind for 6 years. We cannot do that again. Draft a bad QB and go through it for another 6-7 years.

I have a spreadsheet that tracks production in terms of what I call points per game contribution of Qbs to team's success. It's based on stats and includes passing and rushing stats. Tannehill significantly improved under Philbin from 12 ppg in 2012, to 16 ppg in 2013 to 20 ppg in 2014. Then in 2015 declined a bit to 18 ppg. In 2016 in 13 games he was at 18 ppg. He appears to have leveled

I think they are aware of the financial clog at DE. Three guys are making $30 mil. It's hard to cut Wake, or trade him because of his service to the team, and considering his passing downs value. Branch is also difficult to cut because of cap implications. They needed to improve and got Quinn. No big deal, it happens.

Marino sucked bro. Marino in college went 57%., 17 td, 24 int in senior year. He was utter garbage. The thing is, Phins had Woodley who was also garbage, he also liked to throw more picks than TDs. They went to SB with Woodley. Marino did not make a dent when they switched QBs. So much for Marino's greatness, did not improve a SB team, with a HoF headcoach.

Mayfield will be gone. 11. Mason Rudolph, generational talent at QB, got to take him 42. If Day 1 ends and Justin Reid is still on the board, move up, trade 4th and 42, move up to 33, 34 and get Justin Reid S 73. Jack Cichy LB In fourth rd, Griffen if avail or Eddy Wilson DT Sixth rd, take a TE, Conklin or Baugh Seventh rd: I dont care, get depth, bpa, can be any position, QB

My draft strategy would be need and impact. Player selection would depend on how clean a prospect is skillwise, how much does he frustrate me, is he worth the money, do I want to pay him. Impact players are QB and defense. Defense needs to be swarming. Needs are plenty: shutdown CB because Howard cannot do it, true FS, LB replacement for Kiko/Timmons, DT replacement for Suh, he makes too

Having too many needs is a great reason, the reason to take a QB in round one.

It's more about finding a replacement for Burke than firing Burke. Id hate it to be like when they fired Philbin, but then hired Gase, a guy with 0 head-coaching experience, zero track record of success, just a zero. If a guy like Schwartz is available to coach the defense, then yes please fire Burke and hire that guy! But, it's about the hire rather than the punishment for Burke. it's about

Grier is a guy who had Harris higher than Reuben Foster. Yes, he should be fired.

Last year Tannehill (Gase) was 7-5. Of the 7 wins, 6 were against bottom 10 teams. Yes, one win was against the Steelers but they lost to the Bengals which was a bottom 10 team. This year the team is somewhat on par. They just played better teams so far and the record reflects that. During the remaining games they play one team in bottom 10, the Broncos. That should be a win. The team

Oline should be addressed in UDFA. Some of the best guards were taken in UDFA, Andrew Norwell of the Panthers, and Ron Leary of Broncos come to mind. Assemble a team of 3-4 scouts and let them do film and visits for 6 months. QB is #1 priority. I'm concerned that top 5 QBs will be taken top 10 in the next draft, they are that good, and we will pick after all had been taken. (Mayfield, Rose

There is and must be a solely legislative way to force the insurance companies to play fair with items like preexisting conditions, without additional taxation. That additional taxation in Obamacare makes it a tax bill and not a care bill. Second there has to be a market remedy to cost problems. Pumping more money into a failing system is not the way. A market way requires ground up appro

Fire Gase. I don't think he has a clear vision, clear setup.

Linemen play one on one. They will get beat, happens all over the league. The key is to play well as a unit and with the backfield. That goes to coaching and skill positions. Second, two of the best guards in the league, Ronald Leary and Andrew Norwell were undrafted. IT is much easier to find interior linemen in UDFA than skilled players, linemen are available and skilled players not so muc

Develop doesnt work. They took RT at 8 and it took 5 yrs to develop. Gotta draft a stud qb, who can play, not a project.

We had already seen what RT is. The question is whether Gase can do great things with RT. I doubt it. The offense did okay last year because of the run game. Dude was a project that Philbin developed and he did great. He gave us the qb. But he is not good enough, we need better. But most of all we need better coaching.

We have 3 starter qbs on the roster, all vets, and none are good enough. At this point I am convinced the problem is coaching.
