It could be that yesterday was a different issue, but this has happened before whenever the site got flooded with traffic.

Its crashed in the past during the draft, some big games, the first day of free agency, etc.

Not sure there is anything that can be done short of a curt laying out money out of his own pocket to upgrade the technology that supports the site.
