on his twitter he announced this, (sounds logical if not obvious)... Schefter also reports that the Giants are trying hard to sign Bradshaw.

I don't see what he adds to the team---as I said elsewhere he seems like a slower ronnie brown with worse hands. duplicative of D Thomas's style. I thought we wanted a different kind of back to complement him?

Add Marion Barber and Reggie Bush, we are set.

We need 2 bruisers to share the load and a 3rd down weapon.

I dont see where all the Barber hate comes from, Berk.

The guy is not going to be our starter. He will our backup.

I don't hate barber, I just think he's washed up and a 3 yard a carry guy at this point. I'd rather spend the $$ and a roster spot on another type of RB, and keep hilliard.

If we're gonna bring in Barber, i'd just as soon bring back R Brown, maybe the money is that much less to make it worth it?

M. Barber III could be a suprise IMO.

-He's a hard nosed runner wit alot of heart and very comparable to A. Bradshaw in stats and injuries.

-He will probably come cheaper than D. Williams and A. Bradshaw.

-He knows our staff and our staff knows him.

-He is good at picking up the blitz.

-He got the shaft from Jerry Jones.

-He was used on a limited basis last season which may have gave him
some much needed recovery time.

I could see him having a comeback type season.

AS I have stated in othr places, I just watch the Pittsburg game, and Ronnie was atrocious in the game... SUre the Olin stunk but so did he, Ricky as bad as he was in the game was alot better then Ronnie. Ronnie had a 3rd and a yard and half, on second half drive on the 50 breaking into scoring, for us to take the lead and he lost yardarge on the play which forced a punt.

Yeah, Ronnie Brown is gonna get 3-5 times as much as Barber III will.

One thing I like better about M. Barber is that I feel he has better vision to find the hole and is a quicker decison maker to get upfield than R.Brown. M. Barber seems to get through the hole quicker and then bruise players at the second level. R. Brown hesitates and dances more and usually starts to take hits sooner and runs laterally alot before going north and south.

This was not always the case with Brown though...could just be that the holes were not there last year and that caused him to have to hunt for them more. The thing I see about Brown is that after his injury he lost a large portion of his speed...the long run he had against the Ravens (if memory serves) would have been a TD a couple seasons earlier.
