I don't see what he adds to the team---as I said elsewhere he seems like a slower ronnie brown with worse hands. duplicative of D Thomas's style. I thought we wanted a different kind of back to complement him?
I don't hate barber, I just think he's washed up and a 3 yard a carry guy at this point. I'd rather spend the $$ and a roster spot on another type of RB, and keep hilliard.

AS I have stated in othr places, I just watch the Pittsburg game, and Ronnie was atrocious in the game... SUre the Olin stunk but so did he, Ricky as bad as he was in the game was alot better then Ronnie. Ronnie had a 3rd and a yard and half, on second half drive on the 50 breaking into scoring, for us to take the lead and he lost yardarge on the play which forced a punt.

One thing I like better about M. Barber is that I feel he has better vision to find the hole and is a quicker decison maker to get upfield than R.Brown. M. Barber seems to get through the hole quicker and then bruise players at the second level. R. Brown hesitates and dances more and usually starts to take hits sooner and runs laterally alot before going north and south.

This was not always the case with Brown though...could just be that the holes were not there last year and that caused him to have to hunt for them more. The thing I see about Brown is that after his injury he lost a large portion of his speed...the long run he had against the Ravens (if memory serves) would have been a TD a couple seasons earlier.
