And while Maurkice is said to have been the better prospect he is also said to be not as athletic as Mike....and he didn't have to change positions in his senior year.
I don't see anyone at 15 that I would rather have had that would make an immediate impact at a position of need.
And I think you have to stick to actual draft grades. Just bc Ingrim was the best RB in 2010...doesn't mean he carried a high grade for the round or even compared to rbs of past years.
Some of the highest drafted rbs of years past were Ronnie Brown, Reggie Bush and Darren McFadden. They were drafted at 2, 2 and 4 repectively. Does that meen they were worthy? They have all underachieved with only DM actually reaching his potential last year finally....kind of.
All this while lower rated and drafted rbs like Thomas have outperformed a lot of the top ranked rbs.
Adrian Peterson was probably the highest rated RB since LT to be drafted high that actually performed at a high level and I don't see Ingrim even in the same category talent wise when factoring in physical attrubutes...40 times etc.
Truth is nobody knows how any of the rbs will perform so why go against your "board" and reach for anyone when you can get value according to your own evaluation?
