To bad we haven't got anyone to throw him the ball.
At least you can't say that they're not trying to help Henne out, gave him O-line help, a fresh RB and a burner WR, now get him a decent TE and he'll have no excuses, if it don't work out, go all in on a QB next year. Not ideal but we just didn't have the firepower to get one of the top QB's IMO. (please don't say Mallett, the red-flags were enough that EVERY team passed on him multiple times, I predict that baring an injury he'll never see the field for NE)
You're going to get mad at Sporano that he won't put this guy on the field as a rookie. Then he finally will and Henne STILL won't find him. Then you're going to get mad that we don't have a QB.
It happens every year.
I would have rather taken a risk on a guy like Tyrod Taylor. Regardless of how much you can stretch the field, you still need a QB to deliver the ball...and Henne is not ever going to be that guy.

Just help Henne, Just help Henne, Just help Henne. Last year some of you were even saying Marino should 'Shut up and just help Henne'when he voiced doubts about him. Jeez what do you guys see in this loser? He's nothing and thats all he ever will be as an NFL QB. Trade him for Brady tommorow...the Dolphins would be contenders The Pats would fade away (Or Mallet would be starting ) PLEASE dispense with the Henne Groupie stuff.

You are an ANNOYING TROLL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Gates is a developmental prospect with big-play ability who has some makeup concerns but could become a valuable backup receiver and returner with time and more coaching. However, he's currently very unrefined as a route-runner, lacks some bulk (but is tough), and needs to improve his overall football IQ. At this time, can turn a short pass into an explosive play, but route-running deficiencies and his ability to track the deep ball limit his ability as a vertical threat. Needs to get stronger to beat press coverage and become a better blocker. Gates could sneak into the end of Day 2.
I'm not blow away at this point. Speed is not all we need.
