don't know much about him but in reading about him he sounds like another ronnie brown. big, not too fast (4.55), physical, wildcat QB. not the home run hitter I wanted out of this draft!!
Exactly he is the next ronnie brown, and guess what?????
He isnt known for durability
Nice!!! yeahhhh not a game breaker, not a work horse, just another Ronnie Brown who can not stay healthy.
A goal line Back, Brandon Jacobs anyone??
A slower Reggie Bush more like it.
I don't like the pic as of now, I don't feel he will stay healthy to amount to squat, could be wrong, but think Casey Mathews would been TEN TIMES the better pick HANDS DOWN!!! Twice on Sunday.
Not the speed we were supposed to be after. Hopfefully we go get Deangelo, hightower or a Mike Tolbert and a good FA WR since we gave up our 3rd & 5. Do we take virgil Green in 4 or Mallet?
From the youtube clip in another thread, he may not have blazing break away speed but he has a nice burst thru the hole, also some nifty moves for a big guy. I like him.

Definitely should not re-sign Ronnie to team with this guy. If you re-sign Ronnie, that gives you him, Hilliard, and Thomas, all 3 are big backs without top speed. They need to add a speedster type back to the mix. Maybe DuJuan Harris late in the draft.

Actually, durability is considered one his best traits.
If he ran a 4.5 flat or faster, then he could be a every down back, but he is at wat 4.55? I forsee alot of knee injuries with this guy, he is a down field runner without burners to keep from getting slammed by some dominating LB's.
very unimpressed with the video. dude can't break a 10 yard run even with a huge hole. longest run on that vid was like 15 yards before I clicked it off in disgust. how is this guy considered a potential great back?
Another Ronnie Brown is not a bad thing at all, especially one that can stay healthy.
At several points in his career, I would argue that Ronnie was the most dominant overall back in the league. He simply couldn't avoid injury and stay on the field.

He didn't run at the combine. But, he did run a 4.50 and 4.55 at his pro day.

Mia1 you are missing the boat on this guy. He has been very durable and he is on the field most every play. Please watch the tape and read a little about him before passing judgement.
I know, I know Stunner that he doesn't have the cool name that sounds like an exciting back. I know just how much you value a good name. Perhaps you can come up with a nickname for him and take care of all that.
In the meantime, if you would like a real thing to criticise about him, I have one for you to rant and rave about. He apparently has issues with fumbling. Try that one.
