I am curious some people like football teams for all sort's of reason's.

I take it that alot of fan's enjoy fish or they wouldnt pick a team with a dolphin as a mascot, yes its a mamal not a fish but come on.

With that said I find myself to love fishing, and keeping fish, does anyone here keep fish and if so what type????

I keep American Cichlids, and two albino catfish.

got soem cod in the fridge now...just have nightmares about lack of fish

Oh I always thought that the industry should set up a program to pay the fisherman x mount of dollars to hold off for two years, every 10 or so.

That way the fish population stay's strong and you don't have to worry about going in BFE to find any fish.

Yeah the government bunch of BS. Spending money on pork, that money should go to industries like your's to help you out, so when the industry desperatly need's to restock itself IE no commercial fishing for two years every decade or so, no no let's not keep our fisheries strong.

I am sorry you have to go through that BS, and I applaud you for putting your life on the line, to bring me some COD.

nah no deadliest catch here for the most part although i've been thru more than enough of 50 plus kts..mostly i run a for hire boat(party boat fishing) use to do soem dragging but not worth it now days with the regs and all plus i cant do it with the family now..those guys are takign a beating losing boats homes and families being torn uptbut so longs as we bail out the bankers after they lined thier pockets(ok im getting wound up so i'll stop)

I like to shotgun 5 red bulls and wade out into a murky creek(the kind where you can't see what's underneath are the best) for a good noodling session.
