Put another way, if either a RB or QB is picked and it is a home run, obviously the management would be praised. So that's a wash.
So what needs to be weighed is not what happens with a winning pick but what happens to the management if the pick is a bust.
I think they fare better picking a mediocre RB than picking another QB bust but more importantly, logically, I think that is the way that the management would view it.

Yaeh! I think you ARE finally getting it! First beer at Joe robbie is on me bro! Its called going down swinging as opposed to looking for a walk in MLB. This Team has been looking for a walk for way too long and our record shows it. Pat White was a reach at a curve ball. Irlend thought Henne was the answer back then and just wanted to compliment him in the Wildcat. Now he needs to swing at a fastball, personally I want to see what kind of balls he has, and if I was Mr Ross , I certainly would want my moneys worth on that first pick.Give me a Homerun, not a base on balls.
Trade down , understandable. Pick a RB at #15? I'd be pissed.

I hear ya boss. But this guys whole argument is that I'm repeating something that was said a few months ago. I didn't know I had to check in with him to post anything. He needs to get a life or get back on his meds.

we take 3 rookie qbs and we need to cut 2 of them going into the season so it's a complete waste of draft picks. and 1 preseason isn't enough time to be sure you're cutting the right ones. you are better off packaging those picks and trading up for 1 QB.

We had a short lived reprieve with Chad Pennington. The Team was at its most competive when he was healthy. THAT should show this admin that a great Signal caller can make all the difference. Otherwise I agree 100% with the above.
The only way I could accept Ingram as our first pick is if we Traded down for a second, picked Ingram up with a later 1st rounder, and then nabbed Colin Keupernick in the second.
The ONLY reason to keep Chad P around is to mentor 2 rookie QB’s (the TWO we are drafting this April). Henna is worthless and even worse he’s a blight on the team and divisive in locker room. He simply needs to go. My guess is Canada. Or maybe
Yugoslavia.
Now all you kiddies just watch. BNF guarantees we to take 2 QB’s this draft. I’m willing to bet my stank on it…
