Now that the union de-certified, what comes next? What if the owners don't lock them out? I realize in the long run they dont want that, but what about if they call the players bluff so to speak and continue with buisness as usual? I also think the owners won a little bit today in the PR war. Anybody have any thoughtful insight into whats next?

Owners will lock out the players. Reason is that without a CBA and no union, the players are essentially all free agents. What a mess that would be as the draft would not work and the league would be a freaking mess.
Now the union will file suit and I suppose the owners will also. Then the courts will have to make decisions.

I just read that Von Miller will be or already is one of the plaintiffs in the pending lawsuit. I wonder if the players are already challenging the validity of the upcoming draft? I also wonder how much the agents have been driving the players bus thru all of this?

It's a dance. I can't believe both sides are going to be stupid enough to kill the goose that is laying the golden eggs. Even for only one year.

Von Miller represents the Rookie wage scale and draft aspect of the lawsuit. Peyton Manning the Freeagent not under contract player, etc. Each player supposedy is in place in the lawsuit represent different aspects of players and the lawsuits. At least that is what the NFLPA is saying I mean the group formally known as the NFLPA who organized this whole lawsuit amongest 2 handful of players on teams from across the country and all different teams, who just happen to score very high or the highest on the Public having a positive feeling about them as people(PR).
The group that is formerly known as the NFLPA association, see these players as hero's in the fans mind, and if they put these players faces on the lawsuit, we will automatically side with our heroes.
