You can't tell what kind of football player one will be by watching him play baseball. Totally different skills required. Especially positions like TE, OL, LB and others.
Great athletes fail miserably at baseball. Michael Jordan comes to mind.
He is probably good for about 2-3 big plays a year for your team on the lowside, 5-7 on the high side. WHat is that worth financially? Does what he adds not come close to the detriment he can have to the teams chemistry. Does he still really want to play? Or is he just mailing it in and collecting paychecks. I guess you could always sign him for a reasonable deal and see what he is made of, if he acts bad, cut him before he causes a problem. My guess is Rosenhaus is already working behind the scenes to get us to sign him before the deadline. I doubt we bite, but lets see how good Drew really is at his job. I am indifferent about it, I think if we do sign him and he acts like a smuck, he will be cut. The organization has proven to me the FO are not afraid to lose money on FA players for a chance they might be great..lol.

MJ wasn't even a good minor league player. Only reason he got a try out is because of his name. Now we all know he was a great athlete but it takes years to become a major league player. Jordan pretty much stunk it up and that is why he quit.

Michael jordan could not hit a baseball with a huge tennis racket. What are you talking about. He stunk. He was horrible .

I like this feeling I have, I am going to say welcome to Miami Shockey, now please stay healthy! PLEASE????
The only thing that would stop this from happening is how much money he wants. He played at the U, lives here, eats here and has sex here, which means he wants to play here.
Again number crunching only thing stopping this from happening.
