I cant enjoy heat games anymore with this oversized monkey always jocking the ball, i know this is late and the allstar games just ended... anyhow the only way this can work is if lebron stays a facilitater and let wade do what he do. Wade is a pure scorer and if lebron is leading the team in points then what is left for wade to do.

RESPONSE: Exactly. Griff is bigger and more skilled.

If you take lebron and make him either 6'6'' and skinny like kobe or even 6'1'' and stocky would he still be looked at as the greatest ever? The answer is he wont. He is perceived as the greatest because he is a freak specimen with average to above average skills. Sorry the reppa is not a front runner. He is more like a majic johnson than air jordan. If your best skill is passing how can you be the best since this means you clearly need a second (assist) person to finish the job. So whether you compare him with the Michael Jordans or the Kobe Bryants against whom he cannot match up as that kind of player or whether you put in the class of Shaq or Kareem or Blake Griffin who he comes off second best in that category as well, the fact is that with LeBron James you just happened to have the best free agent at that particular moment (and the only good player Cleveland had) to make more of him is to exaggerate his importance. He's little better than an average to good player.

Also, Kobe and Jordan relied on their athleticism heavily until they got close to 30 and had to focus on other parts of their game. As for lacking skill, you don't come close to a triple double every night without skill. He is an elite passer and rebounder at the forward position. Also, he has great basketball IQ. He will make the right basketball play and pass to the open player. MJ passed to Steve Kerr plenty of times for game winning shots, even in the NBA finals. Kobe doesn't pass in the fourth quarter which is why he makes more game winning shots. However, if you look at the numbers, LeBron led squads have a better plus/minus in the fourth quarter than Kobe led squads. Which means LeBron led squads don't need late game heroics nearly as often as Kobe led squads because LeBron's teams are winning in the last minutes of the game. Kobe as ultimate closer is overhyped because he takes way more shots at the end of games and Kobe does not make the right basketball play. Phil Jackson has even mentioned this.

Some of you are just haters and should stick to football because obviously the ten NBA games a season you watch plus sportscenter highlights doesn't qualify you to be more than a LeBron hater.

No low post game cannot play with his back to the basket mediocre jump shooter. Oh and lets not forget he is a poor sport and an egotistical ass. Now is he the most athletically gifted player in the league yes best all around player no. Oh and I watch allot more than 10 games a year as I am an NBA season ticket holder.

fin fan24, as an NBA season ticket holder I would expect you to realize that LeBron actually can play with his back to the basket as he has proved this year. He does not possess an extensive array of post moves but he does not need to. His size will let him bully anyone in the post. LeBron has played the 4 many times this year and whenever he has a mismatch in the post then he will set up on the block. LeBron is a scorer and his midrange game is not fantastic and it is probably the weakest part of his game. But that is not to say that his midrange game is a weakness. Look at the Orlando game a few weeks ago. LeBron went off for 51 and shot a ton of midrange jumpers. Also, LeBron does not need to have an unbelievable midrange game because he can get to the rim at will.

As for him being a poor sport or egotistical ass, this serves as proof that you are a hater. Besides the overblown DECISION, LeBron has not represented himself as an "egotistical ass". And a poor sport, care to provide any real evidence on that one? You honestly must not watch LeBron play or you would realize that he is the best in the NBA. Its not even close. Seriously, who is better?
