"If they do the comparisons to Jamarcus Russell will be rampant in the press."
&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&
That is a racist comment. You only say that because both are black.
I say that because, those guys are two totally different players. Not even on the same level. Jamarcus was a statue QB. Pocket only. Newton is mobile....more in the Big Ben mold.
To compare Russell and Newton togethor only means you are doing that because they are black, because everybody can see they are completely different.
Are Noel Devine and Adrian Peterson gonna be compared to each other?
He's comparing because they're both going to be colassal busts in the Pro's not because they're black. Jamarcus was all world in college had real good numbers ran alot for a fat QB, and had a good running back behing him in Jacob Hester. Now where is he, and he was a #1 pick. Newton hasn't proved a damn thing in college except how to dodge classes and cheat on exams, and you think he has what it takes to be a team leader on an NFL franchise get real man will you.

Jamarcus Russell had a drug problem...From Tony Mandarich to Charles Rogers to Jamarcus Russell, if you have a heavy opiate addiction, you fail in the NFL... Jamarcuse Russell lack of success was undoubtedly tied to his addiction problems. Cam doesnt have those problems, that is a big difference...
Cam is absolutley nothing like Jamarcus Russell.

Rumors has it, It sounds like Mallett had a train wreck waiting to happen moment in the interview process at combine. He didnt like or handle the questions about his rumor drug usage to well and walk out of interview claiming he was setup with these rumors... Not a good sign Phinsfans
I find it funny Finshady that you think Mallett is a cant miss, when he has the tell tale signs of failure and bust with lots of rumors of previous hard drug use.. Yet he is your cant miss and Newton on the other hand is your guaranteed bust.....
I guess you think druggies thrive and great athletes fail...

Because Leaf was draftd #2, and Russell was taken much more recently. I wasn't being racist. I was just stating the obvious. Just wait and see.
Also, both are big athletic guys that have won games with their feet. Leaf was not.

I think it's much lower than that, but the media would have people believe differently.

That's probably about right. I'm one of those 39%, but no comment otherwise.

Seriously? Where do you get these numbers. Do you think all Republicans still believe that, and that's how you get this number??

Unless you're including kids in 3rd grade and lower, then this number is completely wrong.

I can. Can you?

Hey. ONE article is enough. How many major rumors were started by ONE article?

The bottom line is stop with the racist remarks.
Jesus christ people just because two men our black, or white.
Seriously Aqua, I would love to talk with your CO.
Tell him all the bs you like to start with people, see how he handles you.
PhinPhan2: A poll is only as good as those polled. Taking a "random" sample (and they're rarely random, as most people don't like to be polled anyway) is far from scientific. I don't believe those statistics for the same reason I don't play Lotto. My degree is in Math, and I know how ridiculous those stats really are.

RESPONSE: Yes, but somebody is going to win so why not you? Somebody will win it all with one buck, so why not you?
It is just as illogical NOT to spend a buck on the lotto as it is to spend a buck and be confident that you will win.
However, the trick is that it is more illogical to spend TWO dollars because the odds are so Gi-normous AGAINST winning that one dollar is as effective as spending 2 dollars or even 2,000 thousand dollars.
I would love to talk to your boss as well and tell him how much of a bafoon you are, but, as figures....you are a jobless loser. You live in the most poverty stricken state in the country, in an abandoned bus with your wife and 6 kids, eating ramon noodles for every meal. Your kids dont even have clothes to wear and walk around in poopie diapers all day.

Wow where to begin.
Lets start with the poverty, showing you know nothing, but just a little pampered baby.
The Top 10……Poverty in Our Major Cities
City, State, % of People Below the Poverty Level
1. Detroit , MI
32.5%
2. Buffalo , NY
29.9%
3. Cincinnati , OH
27.8%
4. Cleveland , OH
27.0%
5. Miami , FL
26.9%
6. St. Louis , MO
26.8%
7. El Paso , TX
26.4%
8. Milwaukee , WI
26.2%
9. Philadelphia , PA
25.1%
10. Newark , NJ
24.2%
U.S. Census Bureau, 2006 American Community Survey, August 2007
Wow West virginia doesnt even list a city on the top ten.
Next. Jobless loser, wow just because I collect my G.I. Bill to finish my college, which pays me 1426 a month, doesnt mean I am jobless, just I get paid to learn.
If you want to call a apartment a abondoned buss then I guess you are from another country, maybe southern American continent.
Oh yeah thats uh 4, not 6 children, I think you got me confused with Liven tha vida SamSam.
My children who you seem to think don't eat, in fact eat really well, like a champion
Your right on the occassion we do enjoy a lunch full of ramen noodles, but who doesnt?
Now kid's is another name for goats, I don't have any goats, BUT your right they wouldnt be wearing cloths, unlike your boyfriends chi-wawa.
Also poopie diapers, yeah all my children are old enough, and already potty trained so no diapers, sorry.
I forgot I'm going back into the service in May, as a c-5 jet engine mechanic.
Ok its only part time Air Guard, but I can finish my degree next year, and then go full time as a Officer, which will outrank your sorry azz.
That's pretty much hook, line and sinker buddy. Good luck Aqua!!
So there ya have it Aqua, you have been weighed, and found wanting.
Look Aqua the bottom line, is you will never be as successfull as me, and that jelousy is really stinking up the joint like you know===++

Mallett seemed like he had something to hide and all he wanted to do was protect his draft stock, not neccesarily be open, confident and honest. He will get shaken up by the teams interviews...
