Gabbert & Newton stay high being out from under the microsope scrutiny. The combine will make or break them.

We might expect several to fall, maybe even into the second, to teams looking for someone to learn under a vet for a few years a la Aaron Rodgers

Gabbert likely will be gone. No way we take Kaepernick before the second, and would have to trade down.

We could get Denver's 2 picks we could be looking at Kaepernick, mallet, maybe even Locker.

That still seems high for Kaepernick.

I would love to get Kellen Moore next year.

I still think Stanzi is gonna be better than those 2nd tier guys. Matter of fact, I like Stanzi better than everyone not named Gabbert or Newton.

Does anyone else think we need to take a serious look at Ponder?

Considering how many teams ahead of us need QBs, its starting to look as if we should try to trade down instead of reaching for a QB in the middle of the first round. If we can move back and pick up an extra pick, we can address the interior of the offensive line with the first two picks and maybe grab Ponder in the third.

Ponder is so darned inconsistent at times he looks like a first rnd pick at others he looks like pure crap. I would stay away from him to. Like Locker I have seen Ponder play every since his early years. I still would stay away from Kaepernick just don't trust those WAC & MWC qbs. Its Newton or maybe Gabbert for me in this draft.

im really hoping for Ricki Stanzi, he really reminds me of Tom Brady.

I know that sounds crazy but the size, and mechanics are there, he is an intelligent QB expected to be a mid round prospect. I would be happy if we took him in round 3 and if hes there at round 4, id be upset if we didnt take him.

He's one of our M.I.A. longtime posters this season...along with Realist.

EGDolfan was a regular for a loooooong time. I think he may have gone on to a better place, if you know what I mean.

He would never leave this place or give up.

I am actually sad about this, and have been for many weeks. I considered him a friend, and Realist, and Pops.

I dislike every QB in this draft with the exception of Kaepernick, who is a gamble. Some team might grab him with a #1 though, who knows.

Gabbert will be a superstar, as dolfan1 says best....mark my words.
